Hey it's game time in London.

The Olympics going on full speed in London.

Not just for the athletes Cisco working behind the scenes as the official network infrastructure provider and -- -- is there but our own -- -- she is in London where she spoke exclusively.

To Cisco's CEO John Chambers and his -- did -- -- -- by the -- I'm yet out so we heard and and I can see -- listen I have to tell you that this is being considered the first social network Olympic Games ever.

What with all the Twitter controversies people what their Smartphones sending all kinds of video photos and data.

Emails you can only imagine and it was forty years ago that Cisco got the call from the Olympics committee and they said.

We need you to -- a hundred different locations 36 venues including Olympic village.

To the rest of the world that up Fox Business exclusive.

CEO and chairman of Cisco John Chambers talked to -- an outline the challenge.

I think the -- -- of technology that allows you to scale I mean we could do billion videos office and -- about her picture ability to anticipate for the peak -- will be much like electricity issues.

And so getting that balance right if you see a huge number of videos take -- for you to notice please go to the same -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- He CSR ticker you'd directed different way and -- doing that without partners that happened was -- Let's all work into our expectations.

But more than just the infrastructure and bringing in the Olympics life.

We're helping them achieve their goals in terms of fan experience and achieve their goals this is the best movies ever and I think the world -- seeing it very proud of this country.

OK one of the big issues is that everybody down there -- -- if you -- point -- you look at all of these people walking into the the Olympic Stadium they all have.

Smartphones.

Laptops.

Tablets they all want to be connected what was that talent.

Lecturing us it was probably the most complex infrastructure ever done in the world export that's the complexity of what we did it evasion linkage that -- -- four years ago.

And it isn't just in activity with the union but it's exciting it's think what can happen when you connect them connected.

Or connect people which issues to voice and data and they do it all that video any device any confidence that future that's for these technologies that play out and so smelling them together.

But for Cisco is transport ourselves from -- a plumber which list I'm very proud to -- the delivered yeah solving the government's problem solved in the between these problems solving -- problems we're broadcasting sector.

That's what we do today vs may -- the last time we -- -- -- the difference.

The -- corporate news recently was that you announced thirteen hundred layoffs and this just one year after 6500.

Layoffs and job if the economy continues to slow down and that's the trajectory it looks like we're on.

Will you have to announce more layoffs well -- is its action.

-- a little bit to reverse and we we were growing in the mid teens we built -- an overhead structure that was mainly they can never.

And our growth is now occurring in emerging markets certain sections of the US and certain other sections are struggling so this is really about -- -- -- around.

It's about positioning ourselves -- the industry needs to.

We had no fear about the future competing with our Chinese competitors are US competitors in fact we never gain more market share.

If we did this last year and value -- -- seven point switching -- back to 70% share.

In video we need the way.

That at -- you had your resources in the wrong place and that's really what this recent change last.

-- -- often looked at as the canary in the coal mine for corporate spending and government spending two months ago you gave them a somewhat dim outlook.

Has anything changed in two months either for the course of the better in the US wealth got to be very careful business and in my prior periods and -- in -- station in any way apply about the economy.

But what you are starting to see.

In the US is -- but -- balance consistency it's not turning up.

But you're not seeing things deteriorate -- this is from our customers not return demand and business.

Europe you you -- -- challenges UK I think can't -- and -- an amazing job here.

You can kind of feel like they're starting to turn up and understand the Peterson changes country.

Just like a much smaller scale -- of -- -- that change.

It's hard to achieve -- goals in terms of job creation education health care that need to be done in the country.

It's hard to achieve our goals in terms of being petty person break -- -- -- -- world.

Is there anything that the US should be doing right now.

That would inspire better growth look when Europe deception negative -- well that was a pretty negative -- -- That then people sit there and they say my business may be doing well yeah.

-- Can you change that psychology -- -- -- You know it's interesting.

Candidates -- best -- It's got a very good immigration system to attract the best and the brightest -- the world and understand that also helps all of us who -- locals get the jobs.

-- you partner with -- government achieve common goals they've got great start -- success trip.

What the prime minister is doing here Mike Cameron -- -- we can -- that they're pushing the we can afterwards he's outlined a very pro business environment.

Pro job creation -- companies accountable if they make mistakes as you only ship.

But he's talking about unions I've written is great for business and it really years.

He and I met with him a year and a half ago.

I was in January and -- 2011 easy John and I understand the problems of US tax policy can't bring back your earnings from overseas.

He suspended here and I'll help you do it successfully.

Two months later -- -- about billion dollar company here India us MBS it's easy to do business here he's focused on making it easier for startups is focusing -- or -- he has.

He partners with us on the British innovation Gateway helps more companies be successful we partnered together with -- landed here.

That once the Olympics have finished -- how to rebuild -- academies here how do we make.

More and more than young people have a chance to participate in the future he thinks innovation centers together did not get -- -- -- sites in Britain.

And share these commonalities.

He basically says how to activate the best place in the world but job creation for business wanna -- in part -- we're gonna -- they've gone on the UK.

But we do and it's because it's so pro business so much job creation.

He is the best example of -- that's what you.

And for immediate seat belt right now John Chambers and his team they're not going to sleep until the Olympics -- -- because they do not want anything going wrong with all the Wi-Fi that's going on here.

They are the network infrastructure provider it's all on their shoulders -- watching this carefully but again they're engineers.

Planned for the maximum amount of -- what they thought would be used and then -- double that so that's called.

Waiting for the worst -- best case scenario they prepare for -- so far things seem to be going pretty well for.
