Then what is happening.

In their hometown.

Well as we reported to the top of the broadcast last night was also the first time.

That the president talked about the rampant violence in Chicago and by the way I'm Bill O'Reilly the O'Reilly Factor or -- -- don't talk rebel.

We debate to gun control tonight that it apart from a Fox News Channel.

He also the president went -- report that dozens of people gunned down in Chicago.

With murder rates and Atlanta New Orleans Milwaukee and Cleveland you can imagine.

What the president didn't tell everybody is that -- -- has the strictest gun laws in this country.

And the number of murders.

Nowhere near those other cities far far greater.

An increase of more than 30% it's actually -- 32% increase.

-- In the number of murders in the past year despite the fact mayor Rahm Emanuel says he was gonna take it down and get it under control.

It means there could be more than 500.

Chicago residents murdered by the end of this year of course.

And according to the Chicago Tribune newspaper violent crime is affecting minorities at a much higher rate than the rest of the population.

That's not true just in Chicago but it is true that in Chicago in the first half of this year.

Of the 259.

Homicide victims in the first six months.

259.

Victims.

200 and -- Were black and Jesse Jackson.

Is in Aurora Colorado are you kidding me.

That's almost 80% of the victims.

And of course African Americans.

Have unfortunately historically.

In Chicago.

Made up more than 70% of the murder victims in that city every year.

For the past twenty years.

Statistics like that deserve more attention.

By the president than one forced reference in the fourth year of his presidency by mr.
