Night you know what he's not done yet New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Is continuing his crusade against anything fun at all in New York City first he went after butter.

Then smoking now so -- now he's set his sights on alcohol.

According to the New York Post the mayor's office will be conducting a massive fifty question telephone survey to determine how much alcohol city residents consume.

The officials stress they're not considering a ban on alcoholic beverages but I wouldn't pat put it past the king of nanny states.

And his anti fun way they're spreading across the country.

The city of El Monte, California is considering a tax on the same sugary drinks Mayor Bloomberg is trying to ban.

This soda tax will be 1% per ounce and is projected to raise seven million bucks a year.

But here's the thing as much as I wholeheartedly disagree with a soda tax at least Al Monte is doing the right thing by putting it up for a vote.

Will be on the ballot it won't BF a mandate.

That's my two cents.
