President Obama and Republican stepped up their election year battle over raising taxes on wealthier Americans.

The president has again proposed allowing the bush tax cuts for families earning more than 250000.

Dollars a year to expire at the end of this year.

He says that will help reduce deficits and well not hurt job creation by small companies.
