Well joining us now is congresswoman Nan Hayworth.

Member of the house financial services committee.

Member of the house doctors conference the House Republican Conference has designated her the tax fighter of the day.

And even had they not done so we would have been delighted to have the -- as our -- great to have you are gradually made to -- it.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Well -- bite being dedicated and says so might as every member of our conferencing is too.

Making sure that every American -- rates understands.

That government there is no such thing as a government multiplier.

Every dollar that is taken in taxes.

Shrinks the economy shrinks jobs shrinks opportunity.

We need every dollar that -- allowed to remain with enterprise.

With our hardworking men and women.

In jobs in businesses entrepreneurs employers to stay there because that's the only way we're gonna ground.

We'll wait a minute.

My president our president.

-- That in of those entrepreneurs and those business people didn't really get much done.

Other people made their businesses happen.

And I don't know if I can trust the private sector to keep all that money I think we need to send -- a lot more money to Washington would that be.

Helpful.

No of course little baby at that -- that question that you've posed dad rhetorically obviously in ironically no.

This is this isn't dreadfully wrong thing for a president to be saying.

I I would want the president to believe in the power of enterprise that's what creates.

Freedom and opportunity in jobs that's what created this strong wonderful nation that his welcomed immigrants around the world including my own mother.

If it's if it's true we all have to do our best we'll have to take responsibility we needed government that.

Create sit and environment in which we can ride -- -- the government wants to run your life and that's.

Wrong there -- looking at confidence polls confidence of consumers.

Overall confidence of the American people.

The confidence of investors.

And frankly it's pitiful the level of confidence right now in this country in any sector it seems.

In our institutions in congress.

It it's it's breathtaking.

How little trust and confidence the American people have right now in our our fundamental -- our economy our government our society.

And we have got nonsense.

Like this.

Well with the statement from.

Friday night the president saying that people.

Businesspeople -- build their businesses other people make that happen.

Why you do you didn't do that someone else did it.

Well where's the incentive to do your best if everybody else is going to be.

Doing -- Mario -- Isn't all it is.

Antithetical to the American idea.

Antithetical to the American idea that's also antithetical to.

Growing this economy creating jobs -- some point is anyone down they're going to just simply said.

Mister president I mean in his own party I'd like to just get your sense of your friends across the -- Sick -- of Mr.

President.

You have run up five trillion dollars in national debt in your term in office you have come up with a million a trillion dollars -- -- You have come up with all sorts of statements about programs you've created spending programs and initiatives.

Which one might suspect frankly if you were -- what was.

Creation of a desire to be reelected.

To a second term.

And the net result is 2% economic growth.

Not quite.

Unemployment above 8%.

And in morning one month and over 41 months it's been over 80% and the fact is that the nation is and in tremendous pain.

Without comment and instead a president who wants to talk about higher taxes is there anyone and a democratic party's got the guts to say that this president.

This is nuts Mr.

President.

-- -- I I certainly I hope so we do you have democratic colleagues.

With whom we have.

Conversations.

And we are trying all ways to bring our colleagues in from across the aisle because -- I always say in.

My own district the Hudson -- New -- we have a lot of democratic friends and fellow citizens.

And -- this is about all of us this is not -- -- Ours -- sixties buddy is about making sure that everybody has opportunity of the right kind there's -- right role for the federal government now but.

This president has pushed.

Spending beyond the limit that Americans can afford business productive.

We've reached stall speed and our economy that that's the new phrase and want a scary -- Necessary phrase but even scarier is the reality of -- three million Americans.

Who were discouraged.

It finding work discouraged that the fact they have done.

-- and a and frankly a political apparatus right now that seems hopelessly incapable.

Of even responding empathetic late level loan pragmatically practically with.

-- policies that'll inspire.

Rather than darken the national.

More government.

More government does not grow jobs.

Totaling more.

Enterprise grows jobs more government more regulations more taxes will shrink jobs.

And that's -- lose any of us need to know.

Well.

If it were only that simple but we will continue the conversation we always enjoy talking with you congresswoman and Hayward thanks a lot and again.

Congratulations on your -- war.
