And paying now Mitt Romney and -- what he did there back then Barack Obama and what he's doing here right now.

That's kinda how I see these two campaigns right now one focused on an economy.

We just got more prove could be slipping the other on -- then CEO of a private equity firm whose results were still debating.

That's politics each side focusing on what they think works Romney things focusing on a sputtering economy works the president things not focusing on that sputtering economy works.

There each right but that does not make either veering off how they're going to fix this mess right.

I'm -- much more worried about the here and now not whether Mitt Romney left Bain Capital a decade ago or nearly a decade ago.

I'm interested in what Mitt is going to do to increase all our capital right now.

That's why I find it ironic that an administration that rightly -- -- credits for obsessing over an age -- birth certificate.

It's probably okay focusing on age old tax returns.

Be consistent.

If one's a which on the other is a witch hunt -- one's a deflects and the other is a deflection.

That is unless in these Mitt Romney attacks it is that purposeful deflects.

Unless that goal isn't to plant ideas for hope about yourself.

But seeds of doubt about your opponent unless you're so worried about a recovery in reverse that you'd prefer but I attacking.

Someone personally.

-- Unless you're so alarmed by what you've delivered with public money that you'd rather.

Start raising questions about what your opponent did with private money.

Unless you're so worried about your budget deficit.

That you equate your opponents wealth with some sort of moral deficit.

That he's rich and can't be trusted even though a lot of voters are pouring can't be more disgusted.

The president makes many compelling cases for turning things around.

So does Mitt Romney so maybe that is where we started and allow this nonsensical journey back in time.

To stop.
