Our heartfelt thank you very much well everybody's speaking on the Olympics an estimated 600000.
Extra overseas visitors are expected.
At the games this year a big number for many London businesses are hoping for an economic boost from the games.
Hard rock international CEO commission -- -- joins me now with the more details of what we can expect -- -- London hard rock obviously found in 1971.
Ended.
London.
I'm seems to report so that that bookings aren't quite at the hotels what they were expected to they have hasn't looking over there right now.
But I think everyone still pretty optimistic that we get a get a huge invasion here in London I know some of the hotels have relaxed that.
State criteria and and basically have opened up their books again -- that key challenge I think in London today as the weather.
The -- the UK and European markets have been decimated by you know some pretty awful weather so everybody's hoping that the weather will sort itself out -- -- the people will come.
And -- putting some concerts on here over this weekend so we're more than and the thing.
I -- sunshine.
Obviously branded drug anybody on the content you you animation that though the skies are open but it looks like maybe because bookings aren't quite there that some of the hotels -- -- offer.
Deals that mean do you think that there's still time for people that -- to book travel -- the prices like that out.
Well I think certainly going to get a -- a deal that the -- I think the challenge is getting tickets for the offense mostly events are actually sold out.
People have their ticket allocation and they can go to particular events.
Child shall be actually getting tickets for the offense and so I think that's -- maybe some of the hotels have some challenges that.
Now I don't honestly know lots about hotels -- the hard rock restaurants and of course the hotel chain.
As -- house this is going right now.
It's mixed I think if you look at -- European market were seeing some real softness and markets like the Iberian market so Portugal.
Spain and a real challenge -- is is just pretty awful as well.
But we're also lucky because we got some hot -- and Germany in particular apparently still doing incredibly well.
That Scandinavian markets as well as Amsterdam Copenhagen that's kind of markets are doing well as well.
Edinburgh Manchester are up London I think it's a little bit of a lull before the the -- storm sent very mixed bag.
What he doesn't -- I was looking at some -- -- articles about kind of the infrastructure of London and so much money has not been spent getting the city ready in every here we have the Olympics.
The city will cannot say they expect X amount of dollars or pounds if you will us to be you know invested in the city do you think that happens this year -- -- all the money that London has spent.
Frankly is is -- for not that they may not get them the boost they needed.
Well I think two things that they Canada London is always a huge destination market regardless of the Olympics and I think that the infrastructure that's been -- -- here.
Ultimately it's going to be -- and and the -- send -- travelers generally will benefit from this over the years.
I think the second thing is that you know that it's it's of exporting country and sports is very important.
And you know this may be they -- the sort of opportunity to just bring more sporting opportunities to locals who -- and -- southeast of England particularly.
And before like -- guide dad to ask you what what are the biggest acts that are going to be playing the London.
They're gonna be sponsoring.
That this weekend we have three days over sixty acts tonight we've got some gotten from Seattle so crystal analysis on -- our premium act.
Tomorrow we have found Bruce Springsteen and the street bounce again with radios have a sort of New Jersey contingent.
-- Sunday we have pulled sign and so.
He's he's sort of still charging out -- Korea.
And I were really really looking forward to bringing -- Simon to our audience and.
It is unthinkable lined up pack a whole lineup all right we'll him as does from the hard -- -- thank you very much every getting us a little bit of a preview of a great to see at those acts of whether they give.
All right thanks --
