Thank you.

The United Nations crackdown on guns may have an impact on cells here in the United States -- in a company from Houston.

There's -- -- -- -- Michael Mulcahy.

Michael exactly how could this affect your business.

Well one of the big things were concerned about is the effect of the the treaty on as far as manufacturers and their facilities that are located overseas.

Perfect example Browning firearms.

As -- higher -- hunting rifle shotgun manufacturer but they have.

There manufacturing facilities are located in Belgium Portugal and Japan.

This treaty could basically.

If it was implemented and the government decided to you abide by and they can tell Browning had its we don't want you to import these parts anymore.

And that could significantly.

Hurt the company as you can obviously imagine how the company can't just pack up.

While -- -- tire manufacturing plant moved to United States can't just -- because productive.

But I think that that is going to be the biggest thing is going to hurt us and -- supply.

And unfortunately I think the treaty could possibly be a back -- way to you kind of infringe on our Second Amendment Rights.

Yeah -- you know a lot of people in America share that same concern and it was amazing amount about rates and Hillary Clinton and the administration would even entertain.

UN directive of this nation the first place and you know.

I I guess this is though one of the reasons on the other hand.

Why your business has been so successful weight because people are worried that ultimately they will lose -- second amendment rights and that's -- a big business for you right now than it.

That's correct -- industry as a whole -- up over 30% plus this year are sales of course are up well over 30%.

Also since 2008 the gun industry itself is had -- in the employment has increased over 30%.

If I'm not mistaken the exact number was thirty point 6% since since 2008.

So the gun industry is expanding entirely and the would have the big things I have these people that -- again.

The purchase firearms first time purchasers are are so concerned about the economy and their safety.

So they're coming in and purchasing firearms for the first time and that is kind of the common trend that I see -- new purchases.

And to your point FBI data showing people who are asking for a license that number continues to explode higher.

And of course in big cities new York and Chicago just in the last week all we talked about is guns guns guns that massive spike in violence.

Those got a headline certainly have to be helping your industry.

What are you most concerned about other -- you know perhaps just an overall.

-- stopping guns from from being bought.

Is -- the idea that maybe will have a better economy and in store counter intuitive up for your industry better economy could actually be a bad thing.

Well the gun issues really not affected that much by a positive economy it's it's steady across the board.

We've seen.

If anything it it has him increase with the economy going down.

But if you look at -- crosses.

You know an average be the gun industry itself is quite steady and it really rarely ever has -- Idea.

-- in the meantime we know one thing is not gonna -- anytime soon.

And let's of course we -- the Second Amendment Michael -- laughter time this morning.
