This as wealthy Maryland residents are moving out due to the recent tax hikes -- at a company -- Larry hello there was change Maryland.

Larry.

Is that what's really going on down there.

Well you see what happens when you increase spending by more than almost anyone in the country and you can you increase taxes 24 times in a row.

People start voting with their feet and heading for the exits and that's what happened here in Maryland 31000.

Taxpayers have fled we -- our region in taxpayer flight.

Many of them went to Virginia and other states.

And you know it's cost us one point seven billion dollars a year in tax revenue with these people leaving one point seven billion dollars in -- short period of time.

Exactly and and and that this and even take into affected the most recent tax increases because those.

That those are gonna that the impact is probably going to be even better so.

Even worse.

You know lot -- Martin O'Malley our governor here he wasn't talking about so -- it to the millionaires and billionaires he he took it down to the thousand there's I mean they increase right in the income tax on people making a 100000 dollars a year.

Larry speaking of the governor the governor's office posted this on -- blog in response to your report.

I'm gonna read it here called change the -- as the GOP led partisan organization founded by failed congressional candidate.

And they fail to would be candidate for governor the number of millionaire households -- Maryland has actually increased 19% -- -- brown administration.

And -- what do you have to say about that.

Well in the of the governor had a little bit of a meltdown yesterday and it was it was sort like a temper tantrum I think what was amazing is that he sort of hurled these petty.

Partisan insults all about the idea -- -- that there are actually more millionaires and in the state last yes.

That's just complete nonsense and he quoted in his response to me after calling me names and insulting the largest grassroots citizen organizations state of Maryland 141000 members.

He then went on to quote the Tax Foundation to make that argument the Tax Foundation came out later yesterday afternoon.

And said the governor misrepresented the facts of their study and that took him to task.

For making you know so he can he not only have the facts wrong but he.

He sort of in -- reacted in in a very childish way.

Well I would suspect as a grassroots organization your goal is to look at things changed at the ballot box it's obviously.

You know governor are going to be you know -- -- much time together.

Hashing this out together right.

Well we are -- -- be spent some time together next -- -- looking for talking with them hopefully he will come down by -- and we can actually talk about the issues in -- talk about what we really need in Maryland our policies have failed for for many many years since Martin O'Malley and governor 24 tax sites.

Cost -- us 2.4 billion additional dollars a year out of the pockets of struggling marrow donors and we've lost right.

Companies jobs and taxpayers.

And Larry -- and by the way for the record we did reach out to the governor's office and they.

Don't have the time right now two appearing to show thanks are we really appreciate it thank.
