Actually made a great point to joining is now star Parker and a narrative form -- well for -- now the president of this miserable little.
Star if we're gonna give away money why can't we have a say in how that money -- spent.
Because we shouldn't give away money because you don't have a say in how that money is spent.
What this governor is trying to do and what they try to do here in Washington DC as they're giving away other people's money is put parameters around a call means test.
But how do you decide what they could buy what they shouldn't but the bigger question on the table or should we be given away my other people's money.
When you have what has happened here in this particular in stands a they gave a measure taken shame out a measure of -- -- money off of food stamps is so now we have these cards and it's basically like an ATM card it's very difficult -- for merchant to say.
To know the rules the means testing say you can buy this you can't buy that.
And liberals that -- what liberalism and which is what we have here who expand big government is they believe people are inherently good.
What we have to do is just make their situations -- their environment more perfect.
-- -- -- other people's money and then they will be even better people that is not true human nature reduces itself to whatever you allow and if you allow for people to live off of other people's money -- -- gonna have more people living off of other people's money and buy what ever they want with it.
So are up some people watching this show may say though where's her compassion I mean what happens.
To the families that are down and out that have temporary setbacks isn't it isn't -- good society or great society obligated to help those people.
We don't know who they are anymore so when you talk about compassion compassion have to be very local and very personal and what we've done is built monsters of bureaucracy is in welfare.
And we built dependency on these programs.
The -- our office HHS here in Washington DC is on independence avenue.
The whole system is a mockery so when you talk about compassion.
If we -- serious as an American people to help those that really need help and we would dismantle the entire welfare state and start.
Finding out who exactly it is that cannot help themselves.
And then we can go from there but that's not what we have today what we have is a system that encourages people to be irresponsible -- their behavioral choices NASCAR isn't some of the reform kinda.
Easy if you will if you look at this -- categorical eligibility which essentially means if you.
Are entitled or qualify for one type of welfare you automatically.
Are entitled to food stamps and other types of wealth for so even just eradicating something like that would that make a significant improvement in.
Getting rid of the fraud in these welfare issues.
You can do it that way and try to tweak around the edges and and that means you have these politicians who come back to their communities and pretend that they did some great thing that's what happened during the ninety's when we said we reformed the welfare of the states are complicit this is a game for every one.
I'm in fact even these cards that you're talking about they're produced by private sector -- -- -- other big business now you wanna get to the root of the problem the root problem is.
Is it constitutional for us to have what we call a general welfare state.
Once you determine that this is not constitutional this is not the -- the is American tax people's money that we can start saying okay how do we help on situations that can be helped.
What we have today in this bureaucracy are not a place that you wanna start saying let's tweak around the edges and see if you -- -- more responsible article inherently good.
Overall though the president's this class warfare that that these all -- he's all in on this its class warfare and if you make 200000 as an individual -- how about household income of 250000.
You have become one of the evildoers and you should pay your fair share.
What do you make of this.
Well we know that he believes that will work because unfortunately you always have more people that have not.
In half and -- when you think about how many have.
Another -- -- second -- one dollars in cash.
-- we're running out of time what really when -- back on welfare people around the world welfare what was the mentality -- it easier to try to get over on the system thinking how well the rich people getting over on the anyways those just breaking even.
Absolutely and in fact it wasn't even about I've taken advantage of the system it's an encouragement to take all of the programs available.
And that's how these social workers keep their jobs and he's caseworkers what's a reasonable safety net then.
We're talking in what -- is a reasonable safety -- a reasonable safety net would be to localized all of these challenges to make sure that people have charitable tax credit.
So they can keep there organizations that are in our local communities functioning in the private sector this is not the -- of government.
It's individuals that we need to discuss these things with -- individuals that.
Have to be responsible for their own lives.
Star Parker we're gonna -- -- right there thanks and I really appreciate you working been a big -- is velocity -- think it.
