The United States we already -- it's becoming an entitlement nation a record amount of Americans receiving government handouts like food stamps and welfare so here's the question.
Is America becoming a freeloading society Fox News.
-- Business is just fossils here.
John freeloaders I mean that will yes it's I'm not don't pay cut to -- -- probably guilty to over I don't have the example and so in other words we -- take advantage of freebies.
I -- government flood insurance -- built a house at the edge of an ownership mean the biggest freeloaders our rich people links to corporate welfare farm subsidies though.
Tonight we focus on all kinds of free -- is that you.
It's.
Yeah that's that's me years ago like.
My father say you want to build a house on the edge of an ocean are you knots.
And I submit to -- I can't lose there's this thing called federal flood insurance dirt cheap.
And my house will never wash away have lots of sand in front but if it does government OPEC and a lot of that insurance you have responded by people who don't have a beach house right I never invited you but let you know.
Washed away and government pay I won't do it again it's wrong but.
It's just one -- that's.
It seems interesting because did you know let's just like there's all kind of welfare including huge corporate welfare but it seems like people get a little bit more upset about -- the more egregious forms of -- -- them.
I think except upset about the welfare mom driving the Cadillac the rich people get more about I get upset about that -- I was upset just.
Some of your viewers have seen this last couple days we did a story went down to a jobs center were people so there are no jobs and four of us within a couple hours.
Found.
Forty jobs -- the seventy places within two hours forty were hiring twenty force that they would take people with no experience necessary.
I -- -- -- school can I told about it.
He started in the kitchen now a week later he's working as a waiter -- -- -- 150 bucks -- night so isn't this really and the role argument or the real debate that freeloading is becoming so easy.
And you can have such a cushy life.
You know that he just -- no impetus to do anything else.
I I think I would say no impotence and that's -- -- life slow start to feel free cell phone free healthcare free rent I mean nothing else.
Beyond that that we are celebrating -- you have commercials on television now where you were.
You -- saying it's a good thing to go out and get food stand to make you healthier don't make offender to go out and get food sent.
It is encouraging people that have cellphones for -- editors this all of and other in -- what ought to be called free loans are.
Viewers really you know were really upset -- -- you saw a couple and that's longer this story out of New Hampshire with a clerk.
Someone shows up one girl's welfare -- of EDT cards.
And you know they wanted to I don't think you're not supposed to spend a lot of the clerk says -- I think we actually have the the full video that the only.
Let's -- someone to take a look at your well.
What happened less I asked for and I daily and he handed me an EB -- had.
And I was unaware of these cash cats and that that they are allowed to buy beer cigarettes.
Or what ever.
And I told him that he couldn't by the many said he could.
And the gentleman behind -- and the woman behind him I mentioned to the young man I said do you think that and it -- The three of us -- taxpayer -- should be -- and -- cigarettes and he we shed.
That's an illustration of the kind of real outrage that's out there you know people you know taking food stamps and buying bear with it.
Or junk food and then later on of course you know they've fallen to the Fed -- medical system so the taxpayer paid a whole thing.
And it's against the rules -- they can -- it to somebody else -- get their cigarettes that way but look we want to do something to help the poor people.
But I also some high school -- to this job center and things in the current job help thinking.
And they said well we only help -- here on welfare welfare we can't help you but will help you get welfare.
Felt like some of these housing programs we have to be three months delinquent before you get any help would -- trying hard to pay up.
No you can't have any government held by its express happened to Clinton's workfare Clinton was supposed to have -- well offer along with a Republican congress back in the ninety's I thought they were -- encouragement we needed to get people off welfare.
And a million people got off and people move back in with mom and found that they could support themselves and it was wonderful.
But in general programs of expanded at the same time they cut that back.
And you get to a -- we feel like us you're.
You're neighbors have taken that you feel like Carter's sucker and then -- -- -- -- imminent if I've I've always called the -- to America's and you watch someone else give freebies and they have everything that you have you go to work every morning.
Why go to -- John can't wait to watch it.
We will not -- -- -- tonight nine.
