For more on this Joseph -- democratic strategist and Brad Blake -- former advisor to president George W.

Bush joining me now welcome to both of you.

A what you -- react to what Grover -- eats he's -- this very desperate situation with a lot of new taxes coming into play.

Brad do you first.

Is the only solution a change in the presidency -- Absolutely I think you heard Grover Norquist -- Paul Revere telling the American people.

Exactly what's about to befall them should Obama get -- you know Obama said it was a -- the Supreme Court said it was his solicitor general.

Argued before the Supreme Court the president's attorney.

And he said it was -- tax and what are the court do under the under the congressional power.

To tax they found that obamacare was constitutional.

-- the Supreme Court may be the court of last resort.

But if not in public opinion and I believe once the American people get educators today.

-- 122 taxes that are going to come their way -- including the bush tax cuts which -- going away I believe they'll understand that we're not going to have any hope.

Unless we have change well.

Joseph though to you.

We've seen some impressive numbers when you look at the approval on Obama -- it's really.

It's actually gone up after the -- take a look at these numbers support 48% after the ruling 43%.

Before.

How do you read that.

The Internet not just that but the other numbers that are coming out or are they -- that they're the American people wanna move on that they don't want to see this contested -- -- Further that it that you they they.

The Supreme Court ruling is let them -- you don't feel hey we week should move on let's not keep -- litigating this and and it's it you know this is something Grover north.

Norquist the Tea Party.

And others in the right of the Republican Party may want to litigate.

But it's clear Romney does it was his campaign manager today said -- This tax that this was not a tax it was a panel lead not a tax and he agreed with the president who -- with the Supreme Court.

It's a very strange divergence -- have going on between -- and Republican Party in their nominee won't.

Read -- you -- Mitch McConnell.

The senate and minority leader saying today that he doesn't think the odds are high of repealing obamacare how do you respond to that I -- -- Everybody -- taken enough to get rid of the -- What we did but what we can only we rule out of reality the Democrats rule out of ideology.

And a reality may -- that we're not going to be able to have.

A legislature.

And a White House that allows a full repeal so what we have to do we have to dismantle that which we can the congress has the power.

The person and we have to use that power in the house the senate to our advantage to dismantle this so we may not be able to get a full repeal but will at least have enough.

Votes I believe to dismantle it with a Republican president.

Well step number one for Republican governors is turning back some of that.

Medic and Medicare money and a lot of states are now saying that's in fact what we will do you see the ones here -- Wisconsin South Carolina Louisiana -- -- Virginia is even saying that that's a likelihood as well -- you will states opting out will that make a lot.

Less effective will -- be make Obama -- meaningless.

Well I think what it means is that we're gonna see it re litigated again at the -- if the Republicans can really run the risk of looking like obstructionists trying to stop -- -- now.

That was passed by congress.

Signed by the president and to the Supreme Court says is the law of the land.

And so now they just keep throwing up -- it's one thing the contested in the election itself -- which I think some.

Republican challengers are gonna try to do Romney I'm not sure it's gonna do that.

But it's a little bit more of -- -- keep going it -- it looking obstruction are states.

Brad TU if a lot of -- states due locked out.

And the cost of obamacare goes sky high which is what's gonna happen and then it's gonna fall to the federal government to pick up the tab.

Who's gonna get the blame for that we'll be Republicans or will it be Democrats.

It it'll be Democrats because look these legislators.

Can't afford.

And in the governors can't afford to take on a burden they can't pay for the Supreme Court said it's not fair.

To states to be forced to pass on the cost through their budgets to their to the populations.

Governors can't afford it they know they can't afford it.

And many of them have balanced budget amendments.

They have to balance their budget unlike the federal government so they have no choice but to opt out.

No choice but to opt out to you JO -- you're saying that you don't think gather Romney campaign is.

Actually gonna fight Obama care with they're gonna gonna be their health care message then.

I don't think they want I think what they wanna take this to the economy keep it there anything every day that we talk about this or other things is that it it is particularly.

-- -- -- -- -- Because.

All of the yeah I mean he was the father of this thing and if it was -- tax rural bomb it was attacks in Iraq under Romney in Massachusetts I think he wants to get away from it.

And get to the economy doesn't want to be here.

Brad is -- just the economy or will we see health care to as a major Romney by.

-- that's a major -- -- -- -- top tier issue it affects the economy look we're gonna we're saddled with another trillion dollars in debt over the next.

Ten or eleven years that is serious in and in a deficit.

That we're running up close to sixteen billion dollars.

And and to say that it's not part of the economy.

When small businesses who are worried sick about how they can even make it in a weak economy now there.

Saddled with -- with another tax.

No this is this is part of the economic strategy that I believe will be very effective and Romney is the guy to bring this message the American people.

All right -- months and months ago Joseph and Brad thanks so much going to be with us a little later in the shallow -- hang around we'll see Sam.

Can.
