This morning.
Here on the best of Imus had much for coming up including -- -- -- interview with Donald Trump and a few minutes but let's get back to health care here because it's still the big story.
In the United States in terms of the ruling that we had yesterday and the impact that we will have going.
A forward -- from and why use -- on medical center at the Fox News contributor professor Marc Siegel.
The doctor Siegel is with us here -- -- more great analysis without a lot of that this morning could see doctors are considered.
What does this mean for and this is sort of how we're shifting now we've done a lot of the politics morning and now people -- waking up saying.
Positive what does this meat and what does this mean for me going to see doctor Siegel what does this mean for me when I go to the hospital how do you think this will affect your patience.
You know we don't actually see anything immediate so -- so -- tomorrow are gonna change except for one thing but.
There's already been a lot of anticipatory.
Changes in advance of the full implementation of this law in 2014.
Crap what I mean by that is insurance companies have been nervous already minority restricting more services than they did before they've already been raising premiums in anticipation.
Of taking on people with preexisting conditions they've already ended the provision that covers people up to the age of 26.
This is very comprehensive insurance it's very expensive.
It's not just that there's a mandate now for everyone in the United States to have health insurance there's a mandate for everybody to have.
A certain kind of health insurance.
That's been provided us by the draft regulations of obamacare which basically say coverage of preventive services covers.
More diseases it isn't the kind of insurance where you could have a high deductible or high co pay and pay a low premium.
Let me ask you about premiums for a moment because I think a lot of the people that are watching today.
Have health insurance already -- work at a company like we -- -- the health insurance is provided for them.
Or the pay into it would have the case may be and they're saying well nobody's talking about neither all the talk that people who don't.
Won't then because the -- state because that -- you know one of the options was a -- -- on the mend it kept the rest of the law but because the mandate state.
Won't their premiums go up less than would have if they hadn't gotten rid of that the -- that keep cost down now.
The key there is less than they would have BI absolutely a lot of analysts that if they had struck the mandate.
-- to -- gone up almost immediately by ten to 30% it'll be less -- that right the mandate is useful to get people that aren't sick.
That are very healthy that wouldn't otherwise think of health insurance to actually -- -- of that money is essentially you're for people that are -- at their -- is still will go up their premiums will still go up because of the enormity of what.
The insurance is being asked to cover.
Now at the same time in this may sound a little paradoxical at the same time.
Several services I feel that are essential gonna end up being cut -- the other thing coming in with -- Obama -- all the regulatory committees this led by the independent Medicare advisory board.
That's going to say.
This treatments better than this treatment or -- to start to see that you know with blatant.
Lately it's issues of counseling for obesity before that it was the PSA.
Is it that we're talking the US preventive services task force would not connected to -- and there I was Henis and I connected.
But they make recommendations if they then get adopted by insurance agencies or agencies advising -- insurance than they won't be covered if they're not covered.
I can't order these tests I -- -- -- medically there indicated bride and but you won't go forward with at all and then a lot of lot of stuff to go through here thank you doctor -- -- -- -- -- now.
