So okay let's talk about has -- affect small businesses though because this is who you represent.
There's going to be a bunch of taxes US mom businesses that are hitting that pivotal fifty employee mark should they hire should they not higher.
This doesn't solve their problems at all does it.
Absolutely not I mean.
They're cost surgical are gone up are continuing to go up.
In our opinion this law will add a lot of new cost it's not gonna help woman's gonna make it more costly and they're gonna faced tough decisions.
Can -- expand can -- grow.
Can I add new employees are not.
So what do you advise your members how they plan because all of this comes at them like a steam -- and the next year and a half.
How -- you grow how do you plan for the future.
I think it's going to be very difficult I mean as you know the bulk of this doesn't hit -- 2014.
A lot of new cost a 160.
New boards and commissions and regulatory groups put them that is an enormous problem.
And I think you're gonna see small businesses say I'm -- -- I'm afraid to invest now.
And and I don't wanna move forward to grow my business -- I see how this all comes down.
Sick and FIB propose its own version and wants some changes implemented what would you like to see immediately if you -- your druthers.
Well -- bunch of stuff one we'd love to see that so called hit tax that's 87 billion dollars over ten years.
Largely focused on small business we'd like to see that end.
We'd like to see some real things that will lower cost light.
Medical malpractice reform -- Allowing small businesses to -- across state lines like.
Allowing small businesses to group together.
We believe there's a lot of things you can do.
That will help small business.
Lower cost gone forward -- I imagine your viewers sending your members want -- know the answer this question we won't know until after the presidential election what do you think are the real chances for the Republicans to get the kind of sweep in the election.
That would be needed to repeal the law.
I don't know you know I hope there's a great opportunity because I know our members.
Are going to be very focused and this is going to be a big issue.
On who they vote for and how they vote so.
You know I think the cost of health care.
And this view of health care is gonna have an impact in the election and I hope that means they'll be.
