States' budgets hang in the balance waiting for that decision so what will be the impact.
We are joined by Oklahoma attorney general Scott -- state that is challenging the constitutionality.

The entire -- Today was the last -- -- day the Supreme Court session curious kind of become the housekeeping question first to sort of set the stage.
What meeting hear anything today and it it means anything -- to you and your impressions of what we may finally here sooner rather than later.
I don't think there's any connection to the timing of the that the decision and the outcome at this point that there's there's a flair for the dramatic that's going on right now it's actually it obviously going to occur Thursday.
That there was that much anticipation that it might happen today it didn't that war will have announcement on Thursday that I was there and and in late march for the argument.
It was quite.
Quite experience obviously this court is looking at this is an historical decision.
They dedicate three days of argument to this case they haven't done that since 1966.
And -- -- decision so clearly this court recognizes the importance of the decision.
And it's gonna be history in the making on Thursday.
So a lot though is upheld obviously.
As we already said you're looking for them to strike the entire thing down will you supports door stayed Oklahoman and and implement it.
Well I think there's a couple different questions a bit beyond.
Who do they -- -- portion of the -- that the law is it will be targeted stricken down.
And and I think it's going to be a very important decision that comes out Thursday -- -- the court.
You know they think they -- the law is unconstitutional.
In its in its Atari.
The next step that the will be battle in congress.
A repeal effort I'm sure there're there are many that are talking about that both in the senate and house.
And that's -- the battle will be played out if the court upholds the constitutionality of the activists and -- but what happens in your state what happens in Oklahoma -- this politically well fighting goes on.
Well our case as you know.
Melissa Morey we we actually have a constitutional amendment that we passed in November 2010.
The -- said no government can require the purchase of health insurance so.
Like Virginia that had a statute we had along the books a constitutional provision on the books.
That caused -- via direct conflict with the federal law what the court is determining right now is whether that law is constitutional and that law is constitutional.
Then arguably -- preempt the the state law.
And the answer will be a political response in Washington DC.
Yet you have contingency plans aren't -- how you're gonna function data day after a Thursday.
You know I think that there are many agencies -- state government debt that obviously are or are awaiting the decision.
Health care related entities error or dealing with that issue is we now as we is we -- waiting for it.
-- by just waiting on pins and needles yeah I think that point wall making the decision what the next steps would be I.
I don't let you go without asking here reaction to the Arizona immigration law.
Yes -- and the decision today on immigration I think the court upheld excuse me strike down three different provisions in in the law.
I'm not sure how surprising that is -- when there wasn't a great deal of of information and I've received about predictions you know.
Dedicated with our staff that of the Yogi Bear -- been -- -- new Yorker you know said one -- predictions are pretty tough particularly about the future.
And you know when you look at the the health care lawsuit and immigration law -- I think most jurist.
We're very reluctant to try to predict what the outcome was going to be an -- there's two cases obviously both are very important.
The immigration law we passed a law here in Oklahoma similar to the Arizona law.
And so we're watching and reading an opinion right now to make sure -- -- -- -- our laws and state that is a very momentous decision on immigration today.
