See you have like forty employees working for you how do you think this decision will impact -- -- your cost of doing business in the number of people you hire.
You know it it's really it so much rides on this decision right -- if they decide that everything is legal and they don't disallow any of it it's going to be really tough for going to be able to grow.
If they say that all of it is perfectly illegally get rid of it I'm going to be able to grow lot faster.
And -- course that they go to middle ground and say some are bad and summer good it's gonna throw a whole bunch of uncertain you know there's we have -- plan for each of these but possibilities -- The force just ask you being mean to your employees and not wanting to provide health care I mean.
That's what you know the other side would say.
Oh absolutely and -- tyrant I'm a horrible person out all these things are realistic.
Don't know that we got a wonderful benefits package we usually get rated pretty highly by by -- -- -- that.
We do great job of doing that we absorb much of the costs increase we've seen about 20%.
Per year increases last three or four years.
We've absorbed most of that the problem is eventually -- a run out of money.
A -- keep paying more and more so we gotta find a way to hopefully you know cut that down will be.
So what's the difference -- I -- some practical idea how this has changed because it -- parity providing good insurance.
-- our impression I -- we were told if you like insurance you have you'll be able to keep it like everything's good.
So you're already providing nice insurance to your employees and wise it's such a burden to comply with this law.
That's a great question it and I think they need the we've all found out and that's not the case -- they're not -- actually allow us keep our insurance companies.
We've had the exact same policy and it's not about 20% a year as insurance companies started trying prepare themselves for the increasing cost of a seat on the horizon.
So we've actually had a better pool of insured people and -- people -- that fewer pregnancies we've had healthier people and our costs have gone way up because people are trying to find out more about that.
In my big risk is that as he gets more and more expensive I can't afford to give this great care I might lose some my best people who are really wanna be able to keep -- just can't afford to keep.
So you basically have to cut down on your number of employees is acting you deal with the problem which puts up a part time I -- -- would you go out of business how would you actually deal.
Luckily we're we're successful company so I think that probably -- have a cut on other benefits summit just cut down on some of the free drinks and breakfast tacos and -- that we have and probably go.
More to the side of just just offering health -- only maybe not having short term -- and disability maybe not having the other benefits but.
Just taking care only health insurance which and it hurts my employees really.
-- -- free drinks I mean I don't know if you -- cocktails or what but it sounds like a great place to work.
How closely are you watching this how close -- -- paying attention to it.
I'm really watching it closely -- it it's so funny kind of a very intricate dance right because if they straight down the individual mandate.
But they require and as John was saying it if they require that everybody still keep the preexisting condition -- intact.
There's not a single insurance companies than ever write -- health insurance policy again because they can't same business that way -- may well -- -- buy health insurance you just wait until you're in the hospital.
You break your leg you know I don't -- -- buy health insurance because you know I don't I didn't -- until now.
-- so it's really intricate.
