Thank you -- so you know not.
-- really not one single android phone's been able to take a bite out of Apple's iPhone success that's the bottom line but said son now has a new one out be highly anticipated galaxy S three and that.
Maybe the -- to do it.
Is it.
You know we're gonna have.
Didn't ask how.
-- it feels like sigma.
Yeah.
Now he's -- that in a few weeks I in a few weeks.
Pick out yeah all.
All things -- caught on well that's it right name what do you think answer.
Well it's a good phone this is that this is this happens to be the T-Mobile version but it basically doesn't matter -- -- And this is the really I think one of the key things here.
This is the first time any of the -- guys have managed to take one phone one design one name one set of features.
And get all the US carriers to adopt it without insisting on changes.
And so what we have here is.
Is.
Something that if people adopt it could become kind of a widely known brand name and could challenge the -- found better than.
Other phones have been able to do so.
And we -- You know you today you could see it in your hand we can tell it's a big screen you talked about some of the other positives they -- Apple iPhone comparison much bigger than the iPhone.
In terms of screen size we could -- a little bit we had some of these things from your column up on the the street as you were talking about in terms of -- not that it's not a game changer necessarily battery life of those big issues sir.
Well 88 you -- they're basically presenting.
A a very nicely done and -- On.
You know on the major things Connell like.
Making phone calls browsing the web doing photography all keep things people look for.
My my criticism was they then went and through when about 22.
Middle features all of which require.
You know set up and turning on special different kinds of -- five -- aren't the regular kind of Wi-Fi or.
They only work with other Samsung products or something and so I just think they should have -- look we're gonna put too big new things in here.
We're really gonna work on were gonna make it was seamless and go for it.
And and each of these little things is -- thing and some people may use them but I don't think any of them -- a game changer having having said that.
This is a good phone and it will be on all the carriers and you know.
I personally personally.
Not wild about the idea of carrying a phone with a four point -- screen but there are other people who are so right.
You know it's healthy to have to have this kind of competition.
Upgrades -- the operating system -- It's not controlled really by Google.
Good question Kagan has always.
This has been a big problem in the world.
You know they have they have more phones out there than apple.
But they had their their kind of fragmented and they're all running different versions of the operating system meant.
The control over upgrading to be operates estimate if it if either -- you have an apple product you know could bring out our new operating system and you can do is get it.
And of and the phone companies don't have any say over it.
With the android the carriers have a lot of say over it and the handset makers have a lot of say over it.
And they're only something like 7% of all the android phones out there are running the current operating system that's a problem.
I -- Samsung about it on this phone and they said they could not guarantee.
That it would run the next.
Version are a couple of versions of -- dread because they haven't tested yet.
They don't know and that's you know that's something people should keep in mind they said there is memory in here.
That they are bidding will be enough to accommodate the new operating system but it's more than a memory question there could be things.
That aren't compatible we just don't know it's an issue so.
As a signal of why the sounds like it's a pretty good -- -- and android fan but it's great to have you back wall by the way with us.
-- here in my day and well I missed you.
Yeah -- I'm glad you -- I I was like I don't walk back this way everything that -- -- Today.
Did see -- well it's great see you guys you know Greg thank you well.
