Chairwoman back Q if we can plays said to talk a little extended about Paul -- -- -- that poker is on your board of this systemic risk council.

He always wore back in the days 1015 years ago when people were talking about getting -- -- Glass-Steagall he warned us.

The risks of giving investment houses access to all of the guarantees.

And all of the fed windows that commercial banks have access to he said be careful or you will have a systemic breakdown looks like he was right in hindsight.

Is is it too late to put the genie back in the bottle and go back to something like last -- Well I don't know there doesn't seem to be -- support in congress had to do that but I do think the regulators themselves have tools both the Fed and the FDIC.

Do have the authority to order these banks to restructure merchandise -- I think they -- have authority at least to require that you know these bank holding companies are made up of lots of different subsidiaries some of them take insured deposits from the did not.

At least force the high risk activity outside of the insured -- just leave the insured deposits there to support lending.

And move this other activity and shoes at walled off affiliates were again -- -- the market to get their funding.

That I think there is a lot of authority for regulators -- to accomplish I think that that would help with this issue a lot.

You know we that we listened -- -- -- make such sense you are one of the view during the financial crisis who really emerged was such a high profile and people really respect how you could issue dealt with the entire banking system bank failure after bank failure and -- -- be kept at a guess if he's sure dead now the big question comes.

You know Treasury Secretary Geithner has said he will not return to his post if the president is re elected.

Is this a position you would consider and we know that everybody says -- why you know it's up to the president but.

Look you have the background is it something you would consider.

Well I tell you I've been awash in for a long time I've held a lot of different that government jobs I hope though is with with that good results.

But one they have learned about government jobs as soon as you say you're interested -- usually don't get it is so I think I know that's not the answer you want but I'm I'm going to -- on -- question I -- no problem but and I think a lot of people feel pretty confident to -- in the place they can read it -- pleasure to see chairwoman.
