Well joining me now our congressman -- it's -- a proponent of Arizona's anti illegal immigration law.

Which the Supreme Court is expected to rule on as early as this month.

Also joining us tonight -- -- -- our -- junior.

And attorneys serving as counsel to business interest affected by immigration laws former General Counsel to senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.

And former special assistant to president George W.

Bush Ron Christie.

-- -- -- all the -- to be your congressman let me begin with view.

This is is it appears at least have been a death.

Tactical move by the the Obama campaign and the White House what your reaction.

-- I believe we've just seen.

A beautiful example of election year politics.

And also a great message of how much trouble this president is.

In this coming election but if you really dissect what he's done here it's actually a horrible cynical move.

And you and I could actually talked for minutes over all the unintended consequences.

I believe that are gonna come from this like -- Well think about the mechanics.

That are about to happen.

So if you dropped out -- high school you're not eligible.

You know you might have a biamby out there working illegally -- be a great citizen but if you're stayed in high school -- slacker you do are eligible.

If you're 31 you're not eligible but if you're thirty you are -- you need to go -- get a legal papers.

The cascade of bad events.

-- -- come from this policy because of the way its design.

And it just the cynicism might -- and it is going we're gonna deal with.

For years.

That -- -- let me ask you this are you were enthusiastic about what the president has done here are do you find it objectionable.

You know I think the attack was something that I'm going to take on its -- -- up as -- you know desire to do something good.

But quite frankly this is a 144 days before the election three years into -- presidency and it should've been a bipartisan effort.

That the congressman and others could agree on -- lacking for ideas and we're trying to do what we.

Can't do by one way and it it really doesn't work it doesn't work that way that's not the way the constitution is set up.

I think there's a better solution for this.

At the same time you know the intent is good this may be quite frankly the way I see it may be a lot of -- and not so much beer.

While home beer -- whatever it may be the fact is he's he's just couple legs out from under senator Marco Rubio.

And a group of Republicans who have been working as you well know.

Ought to come up with -- solution.

For the DREAM Act.

They are to no affect now it appears.

Not necessarily not necessarily so Lou I think that this is going to require a legislative long term approach.

This is a short term you know attempt to do something perhaps part of the election.

You while they election and short turns out -- and in the long term solution won't be at hand.

For borders going in to those voting -- so this gives it sounds like you're gouging.

The advantage politically to the president.

There might be an advantage you are correct with that but they're still has to be action and that action has to be taken by the legislative branch.

Why didn't the Republicans act sooner they have just been out maneuvered here Ron.

-- badly by this president because what -- they were contemplating.

Whether you call a DREAM Act like -- target -- as a different prescription.

Entirely.

They've been outmaneuvered and they've been -- -- and they are now -- left with no political or prospect that.

At all I entirely disagree vehemently what I think then President Bush while you're here how can President Bush's term.

We're trying to enact comprehensive immigration reform and we failed and I think the Obama administration with a dual house majority in the present -- sitting in the White House had the opportunity to work across the lines to work with the Democrats negotiate something it's hard make.

-- do with the American event the president made it clear today -- that was republicans' fault that he had to -- out go it alone be unilateral.

You name if you -- we've we have all forgotten that.

There was and a democratic congress and senate for two years -- became president was so two years ago.

Look what we need to use Obama vs Obama and I look at this is a lawyer and an Obama so that he didn't believe that he had the legal authority.

To issue an executive order to circumvent congress to circumvent the laws weren't in -- unclear here and and no one is reporting on it no one can find good justification what's changed.

Where did -- suddenly get the authority to go it alone because he said -- And Al and that's why I think Lou I think ultimately this is gonna hurt him more politically because people are gonna look at him now.

Every day before the election every action he takes they're gonna say is this in the best interest the United States people -- our citizens or is this crass political -- While we're going to continue to analyze this this maneuver and decision taken.
