Well listen up because you are not gonna believe this more and more and more jobs require a permission slip -- -- government.

Today one in three Americans need a license from the government to do business I kid you not one injury.

But of course it -- -- it used to be this way.

Back in the 1950s just one in twenty Americans needed the government's exit that -- permission that is to do the job.

But now across the country some 100 too low and middle income jobs now require -- state license.

And -- I'm not talking about gastroenterology.

-- high rise architects odd jobs like barbers massage therapist auctioneers interior designers.

For the average worker analyze and -- profession it means nine months of education or training and exam and of course fees 200 dollars on average.

Think of how much that time and money will hold you back from getting where you want to be.

Okay let's get specific here in New York for example to be a barber before you get a license you'll need 884 days of training and three exams.

So if you took that trading Monday through Friday every week no vacations.

It would take nearly three and a half -- to do the trading.

But consider this lawyers go to school for just three years and they only pass the bar wants if they do not three times.

And I'll tell you this there haircuts we get around here don't look any better than the ones in.

Say New Hampshire Wyoming where borrowers have to get less than a quarter of that training.

So your hair is on the line with -- on trade -- it takes some time to grow back.

Yes I get that.

But then why do you emergency medical technicians EMTs.

-- just the 35 days of training.

These are the folks who literally hold your life in their hands.

The part it'll make your head spin is how much these requirements change as you go state to state.

New York manicurist for example need 58 days of training and to take two exams before they get their license.

-- Alaska it's three days and how about those Alaska managers need to be a lot tougher -- the New York one's.

What's no let up to -- government regulations that don't make you any safer just harder to find a job or if you own a business to create one.

The government's given itself a license a license to kill jobs.

It's time our lawmakers to stop trying to control the economy the message from Americans is -- get out of the way anybody culture.
