How badly needed -- programs like this I understand the the unemployment rate for veterans is -- 9%.
I mean is is it really rough out there for these people returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.
Well I think the statistics speak for themselves actually this tough for our our returning veterans who I think we owe a debt of gratitude enough.
-- a great career opportunity to to the extent that Edward Jones has -- a wonderful opportunity for the right people.
We're excited to to it to find those folks and and get him into our training program.
We talk about 300 jobs this year but how many people do you how many vets you envision that helping them.
And how many states -- involved in this -- -- your company is is across the country how many stateside -- with us.
Right we have already hired eight people in in our are focused recruitment we have 200 more and pipeline that's from the inquiry to the application to the screening phase.
We as you say would like to complete the year by -- hiring at least 300 and every State's.
Is is on our target list we have Missouri up and running right now we have 26 verbal approvals.
From other states and the rest -- -- we fast behind.
So what does of that have to do in order to apply for this program what's the process.
Well not everybody is gonna find the work to be what what they would like to do nor what they would be good at doing so.
We're gonna go through quite -- has screening process but if they would like to seek us out certainly it's as easy as going to the Edward Jones web -- clicking on the career opportunities.

Were also on military bases we're talking with individuals as they prepare for -- anticipate the end of the day when they're going to be leaving the service that's wonderful whose idea -- was this was this your idea.
I'd like to take couldn't afford -- -- we've actually hired quite a few people from the military in the past and now we have thirteen hundred of our current 121000 financial advisors with.
With military service to our country.
