A week ago there was a real sense of excitement about FaceBook the all American world -- -- was about to launch its stock.

As we now know it was a complete debacle.

So here's my take on what has become a very sad story.

It's sad because of what is dumb to the idea of investing in stocks investing in America.

The underlying story here is the little guys retreat from the stock market it's been going on for a decade.

Lousy -- tons extreme risk wild ups and downs all of that has pushed investors away.

In January of this yeah trading volume dropped by a billion shares a day -- -- last year that is a huge drop.

FaceBook stock debut might have changed that it was real boss about the chance to get it on the ground floor of yet another American innovation.

But the bankers and Facebook's -- too many shares at too high a price yeah exchange couldn't handle the trades the lawsuits of flying and a little guy took a big hit wanna -- But a missed opportunity.

Is -- -- pulling people back to investing and big pot of American enterprise Wall Street has a mess on its hands it is indeed a sad FaceBook.

Debacle.
