-- -- All right we're gonna head out now to talk about made in the USA what that brand of that legal means and how you get something to be made in the USA we -- joined by Jill -- assessed.

They still.

They chairman and gentle warning in the USA -- you joining us from.

Los Angeles Los Angeles very nice they should minimalist outlet that background behind him.

So other -- -- in your notes and -- seems that manufacturing.

Here in America is important to consumers to businesses.

For tax reasons and -- -- but it's very difficult.

And cumbersome to get that 100% -- in the US label right.

Well a 100% is virtually unattainable -- you know a few products are a 100% -- USA but.

The general standard has been 75%.

-- in the USA -- -- still be here in -- -- in the morning -- it at 75% or does -- have to be under.

Now the general rule is 75% on its contents however and in California.

There is a virtual 100% -- and there's a bill pending.

In the.

-- Any it's hard to be made he -- say right now for so many reasons I -- -- -- just walk us through some of of the concerns that you have.

Well I'm.

The interesting -- -- are a lot of companies want to be made in the USA and we of course there are a lot of government regulations that make it difficult.

-- to make things here but US manufacturing is one of the strong points in the economy now.

More one of the big.

Moves that was made last week was the Commerce Department put a thirty.

1% duty on solar panels coming from China and China had been dumping solar panels in the United States and we think that's a good move.

We've been supporting the US solar industry we think you know that's one of the industries of the future that the United States should dominate.

We developed the technology here actually in California and in and I was that solar world and Portland last week.

And I from the biggest manufacturers in the United States.

Let's talk about the furniture industry for a second.

That's -- -- they'd been exported to Vietnam to China.

And you say it slowly coming back here in the US.

Yes I'm actually I was at the furniture show in high a High Point, North Carolina.

-- couple weeks ago and two major manufacturers.

Have announced they're reopening US facilities.

And we think that's a good sign.

A lot of the quality coming from China has not met up to its met after the US stand -- ice sheet you know we've been -- -- what shape but it's not as cheap as it used to be -- and this -- enterprise demand higher wages try.

That's right.

About 20% a year.

-- the price of furniture from China has been increasing so.

That makes -- more competitive to make -- in the United States US wages of course have not gone up.

So we are more competitive than we were a few years ago.

But here here's the issue -- -- -- issue as -- proceeded further let's let's just stick with furniture manufacturers.

-- them to operate plants here in the US I mean there has to be so many strict.

Environmental laws that they have to comply with that they don't have to comply with in China and that's expensive that's -- burden.

That is true that is a burden however I'm furniture is not an industry that's really been -- because there there are many.

Environmental concerns with is is -- manufacturing batteries where there are a lot of toxic elements Hachette.

The -- the most most toxic thing in furniture is usually lakers' and so forth which can be dealt way.

So many other industries that you look at which ones are bringing manufacturing back to America.

-- -- the auto manufactures are leading the economy right now yet.

All all the Big Three Ford General Motors and Chrysler.

Arm have increased production dramatically in the United States and I think that's gonna continue.

The quality.

In the US and the design has improved dramatically and there are some for the first time crisis coming out with a new -- in the US.

The the Dodge Dart is back and it's going to be really nice car.

Rate again -- -- on -- the super glad a couple of years ago Chrysler did with that Eminem.

And that kind of got home the whole okay and did trade is back and let's start you know manufacturing -- again.

How do you -- and you organization help -- companies who want to be more.

American -- what she did incentivized them or put them on the right path.

-- a a lot of their programs we have we -- match.

Manufactures with suppliers sometimes the company can't find that particular component.

Made in the USA and we've got a a great database.

So we can help manufacture.

And -- -- -- your website.

Made it USA FD and dot -- so anybody listening right now concede that they can reach out to you -- you could put them.

In touch with who they need to be in touch with to do that.

-- right what else guys are you.

And we also.

We we set up for retail program where we now have several hundred retailers across the country that are featuring -- -- made the USA products.

-- you we will help them source American parts for their stores.

Recently we've helped them find the various kitchen products.

And all different kinds of products that they had trouble finding right at its very interest thing.

Most things are still made the United States they're not find that they're not often found that Wal-Mart however -- RNA now and you.

They're found in the smaller stores.

And sometimes you have to buy products online.

But I've found that you can -- 99%.

Of the things you're looking for online.

Made in the USA.

I say there's always say it has -- headed out that you would say expend a lot of people will spend more money on something -- -- -- it's made here.

There's certain web sites that are better than others -- this.

Well.

We actually are working to develop a new website called the all American mall dot com which will have.

Access to everything made in the US it's it's not up yet it'll be up and about -- my.

Well -- Josef chairman of -- in the US say thank you very much I'll let our viewers weigh in if you would spend more money.

On something just because it's made here in you -- if you care are not let us now.
