Who better to tell us what's going on in the American psyche with regards to vacations problems so what is it -- it's vacation -- -- people planning to take a vacation -- More people are planning to take a vacation any which way they choose who drive and fly and this year it looks like it's gonna be a good summer and everything's going to be up.

More people be traveling triple AS is only expecting -- one point 2% increase from last year.

But with people taking a trip about fifty miles from our house that's -- Now we're seeing kind of a range of things are good news is none of its negative CF Tripoli at about one.

I'd seen another demand forecast -- about too -- and even today I saw trip advisor had recently done there.

And survey of the American traveler for the summer and they said 8% more wanted to travel.

So we're -- had seen a range of outcomes but I'm happy because they're all on the way -- but -- So were the best deals -- where where way by wanted to go so we get a really good deal.

What are some of the places for this summer if -- on the East Coast -- we people to Washington DC.

In it always gets a little bit slow during the summer times.

Especially in August when congress heads out and some of the nonprofit shut down for the months -- be great deals to be had their kind of after the fourth of July holiday and -- for going on to the West Coast I'd point you to Vancouver just like Seattle lovely same kind of climate great city to visit.

And we're seeing rates down there are now a few percentage points from last year we got congressional leaders had to be working this summer -- I'm not sure about -- a.

Let's talk about airlines airline isn't this getting the brunt of it lately they're -- they're charging us for everything under the sun people you still think they're gonna get on -- plane in travel.

They are and we were discussing this this morning that their fares right now on average -- -- -- about 500 dollars.

My ticket and so it's it's a multi year high for us -- you're right they are at a peak but it doesn't seem to be deterring people I guess your vacation.

It's something that you're not willing to give up and to some degree -- I think maybe were given the airlines a break because there are suffering from these high oil prices just as we are at the pumps.

About the cruising industry of Tenet calls and ship sinking off of Italy we've had sickness -- you know outbreaks on these -- cruise ships yet it still popular option.

It is they had to do some discounting in some promotion to kind of get people interest that again after the the cost of accident.

-- but they've recovered nicely they're getting better every month.

If you're hunting for deals though right now cruises in Europe are a bargain.

They were counting on a lot of cruisers from European economies and those folks right now.

Are coming out so there some great deals there.

You can get on a boat to Greece and just all the way down together Depp bring -- it's cheap when you take -- -- -- Clinton yet let the gas prices hit on and you mention oil prices at -- are we gonna see the road trips in the United States well thankfully they've kind of come down a bit as were approaching summer we're all worried they would they would keep going up and up and up.

But what we've seen from the American consumer is that they worry about high gas prices but it doesn't.

Actually deter them we haven't gotten to that point Narnia where -- changed behavior so I think Europe can slim basement of one of the companies you so much -- of it really appreciated.
