Odd to have -- really expand commercial opportunities in the Asia Pacific arena -- -- -- countries are part of these negotiations.
And several other countries including Japan Mexico and Canada that ultimately want to be apart of the trans Pacific partnership deal.
Significant progress is being made here this week.

Strides forward towards an agreement I don't expect an announcement at this stage full.
There reportage is -- have to -- -- dram market access how do we deal with state owned enterprises -- -- we discipline them how do we deal with intellectual property issues.
-- -- -- -- -- That we're doing the right thing by being in these negotiations.
I'm even more confident that ultimately got a great commercial opportunities for our companies it's.
And for our workers so -- and I'm looking at the map the came up that showing the countries involved this points China left out of these meetings.
Well we want the highest possible standards to be -- developed in these negotiations because.
In the aftermath of the doha -- around multilateral round.
Collapsing were -- -- -- yep we need to create really.
Standards that will develop.
Forward that will be the basis for a global trading system.
And so while China and could join one day that the bottom line is we need to find countries a coalition of willing countries.
To have the highest standards and intellectual property -- highest standards in market access in agriculture goods services.
To ensure -- that we have liberalize trade.
You know regionally angle William so we have picked I think the right partners to start with.
But it's a platform it's a foundation and other countries will ultimately have an opportunity -- on.
Admired his -- aids and it obviously is good for everyone involved from what I can see that this is the twelfth round of negotiations why does it take so long for an agreement to be made.
Look I'd love it to go faster but -- -- we have got to ensure.
That American companies and workers have access to these overseas market so we.
We need to make sure that we insist on high standards we need to make sure we have market access we need to make sure we're doing some of the new areas the Internet and and of course -- property enforcement and issues around -- -- enterprises and regulatory cooperation.
A lot of tricky issues now let me tell yet.
There is going to be according the IMF 22 trillion dollars of global growth.
Half of that is going to be in the Asia Pacific arena.
We've got to be engaged in this marketplace.
And we've got to find a way to get the partners together broad reach an agreement.
We hope it gets done this year that's the ultimate goal -- -- get it done this year and move afford.
