-- -- really funny and we found really funny one and that's what he's here in many -- -- wine and -- expert on -- with -- right -- your website is your name.

If they do that and -- Helio dot com and of course the following that line of wise guy and on FaceBook one wiseguy.

Why so write -- blog there's so many of them out there.

Because everywhere else you -- have a blog and I think it's really necessary to.

To talk to wounded every day I think I have.

-- really amazing career that's that particular places that I I don't think.

Our board of people want to know what time would you us that would you this weekend we're you know I was hosting events here for a magazine since you all over the the countries.

That's -- thing you have pretty darn good.

The lifestyle EG as a want to lose and -- but I've I've got super target since a lot of replacement is it because if slim line because you're ready for fruit and -- right.

Arab for a magazine had a -- -- your relation with them and they send me to or other country has their ambassador to represent about.

At the servants to do it you have to -- for sort of puts us in -- the upcoming -- weekend an Atlantic City and -- that we just did we do -- for the one year to -- -- line.

So of -- of the place I was in it is Austin, Texas two weeks ago for furloughs.

And you -- you're saying earlier that you do some corporate stuff to.

-- the companies -- to -- -- to talk about one I think.

It takes that if they have these big corporate.

You know events where they wanna put a little funded through what people in line with one.

I reputation that it is funny so I if you think -- seriously right I think that's of people really register with when I select.

Look we can I could for -- to tears with talk of terror warrants some -- -- the nonsense but.

Let's just talk about what we like about this what you know what the front of -- six classes let's see what we like -- -- like and where I think really really -- of people and with who what when I say.

There's a class that -- the view.

I could care less if you don't like -- so one of the because -- minded judges but I would hope.

That -- with an open mind you could pastries.

And think about how they might play play out for themselves that -- food for six ones -- really twelve.

And when people say the people -- of them think wow.

That makes sense that think food -- or the other but some we -- themselves so need food.

And they changed completely with one taste of anything salty fatty delicious -- into line.

I like to say -- was in Europe -- my my mom haystack problem in the sixties to death of loved look to have wonderful would.

And -- over the -- we're pretty limited -- -- to the other parents broke and on went anywhere else so I don't -- how to handle taller probably but many.

But I I like to say that we we we kids -- looking -- -- -- we grew up.

-- pretty wide with my cousins in the basement on Sundays my grandparents always had a big fairly -- yeah cents a have been Jersey City in the basement and all the kids got.

Why -- on the rocks with a -- cream soda.

As an -- in addition we -- ING's classes are as we would we -- more generous right there was that rocks glass but but.

Over with -- -- the -- the -- -- of -- with the teachers that wanna blow to the table.

And I've taken it from there to think that you know that they they were really doing a great thing.

And all of my -- loved one wouldn't have asserted or anything like that hey there that we you have and then from there I just made it -- you know -- My vacation trip to contribute journalists firsts who makes wind -- interest -- -- -- you -- change swank kayak I -- that between two years ago.

And I never wanted to work -- restaurant they did it as a journalist that I can then use that vocabulary.

You to take what's important what's valuable to everyday Americans and cut out all the other stuff the stuff that I I learned like that we cares about is that this will be -- will be.

Kidnapped and there is still I mean as much as it's changed over the years there is still a little -- to -- all.

And usually you -- I don't want gonna restaurant and feel like a -- who knows nothing.

But that's a restoration ever go back -- -- honestly because I think that I think -- it has changed a lot of the fancy salons twins I've I've been doing this.

North Americans are drinking more wine than ever before 2012 -- actually overtaken that I've really come from the planet -- consumption so.

Just America -- referred to enjoy one responsibly but I also think.

The attitudes of the the other tuxedo -- you.

Tentative somewhere yet and those with a counselor from by the way we're really nice guys but they can terrify anybody checked that's gone I mean you see so I think -- -- -- -- -- -- While young people -- a dynamism a lot of energy.

And I think people just need to ask the question asked for the white director -- -- I would love got to look to drink -- I'd love to take something like this or.

Are they gone out because the recession forced them now because look there was a time where people sat down especially here on Wall Street.

And fed will take the most expensive bottle it could take like to say grape -- we don't care we just want right that's gun.

Still -- for the most part it is right yeah eight Merrill could be coming back right but those are my people but this -- they had us teens what he was done yet right one.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- I wanted to thirty dollar bottle they think it sounds cheap.

People I think in in general are afraid to say what they want -- for what they what they can spend because they think it's -- -- stupid and that's crazy.

It should really -- -- -- the customer in the other sits there in the restaurant.

You to -- -- steak cooked if you look at this way why would you say an element -- in this way.

It's because historically there's -- -- would stand over the table unless -- like you're immediately asked for thirty out about one which other -- -- No it's not keep it -- and as matter of fact I think the average price that people paid these days is closer to fifteen dollars people don't wanna spend a lot of money on line.

Right so yes of more than double lord forgive you right triple wholesalers like that you wanna spend with -- 34 dollars on on bottle at a restaurant.

Let's let's talk about the economy while -- on -- now on -- you mentioned earlier you -- corporate things.

That's stopped for a while right slowdown -- is it coming back slowly but surely it is so we're seeing a little bit of return because the recession changed.

Everybody look at everything yeah I think the way -- has term which is that it's it's actually it's nice it's easier to talk about before was you know.

Corporate America is for anybody to entertain clients like it's a party and now it's more like we want to show you that we appreciate your business.

And that we want to keep you as a client.

-- so -- in the budget to cut back to be respectable but not forget about crazy and that's that's the biggest difference last year that I'm now doing more events that are more sober.

In the in the real sense of you know we're not celebrating that we have so much money to spend that you were celebrating that you're sticking with us -- we're gonna -- it we remain partners and we can -- -- business together.

What's different as far as the winds that everyone's picking are they -- or are they different regions.

I I think that affluent people look at for value chair and and that's that's that the matter whatever demographic him talking to economically -- -- -- the value.

I Khatami millionaires I worked with -- who -- was it was a great time Bob Klein I think that's great it was inevitable quiet on the table when the name attorneys for repeats that went out right.

But -- find that people aren't getting this has been I think is the future for America every American knows how to talk Chardonnay cabernet reload the talk grapes.

But we talked you're talking places like -- paid Chianti Bordeaux -- etc.

American that are thought to get more specific about their favorite -- from such and such a place for instance.

If you say you like a -- today I'd say any particular place and I'd -- me -- say you know senate real value of the Sonoma coast or we'll have a valid subpoena the wire or.

You know -- north from the from the -- conflict.

To say that to get more specific means that you actually can taste the difference between.

If you -- from -- California vs organ vs the -- you're -- our pallets are getting better I I'm not hoping I know they are I think people are gonna feel more confident to say that like.

I love the great organ can nor for example or Washington State -- I mean that's great if you could if you start doing.

It's -- eventually to be able to to talk very specifically about the ones you like with a one director at a restaurant or at.

But have I -- how do I get to that point.

Drink as much as you can taste as much as you can do as often as you can without ever go back to the same thing and you keep -- journal.

To keep notes -- I forgot what I think picture of everything I think part of every what one -- the father restaurant in Portugal on this page -- on.

-- opportunity sort of what -- had that night.

And then that goes towards the blog but also that it's it's the best way to have Paper you have to like you can't take all the stuff on the trials -- -- -- anymore and I take pictures evidence they've seen.

You make notes in the -- you think.

On the all the dirty absolutely it will and especially I think if I really liked -- I keep it.

That we're gonna put -- my for the for blogging or you know it's like to refer to it.

I also -- -- for events like what we wanna ask me to do an event -- you know let's say that's been.

I'm they'll say can you suggested the once you like to -- I mean that's that's terrific not to be loaned it to say give you the specific wireless they should pick your favorite I do with my files in my phone thing.

I love that wanna of I don't know that -- and -- -- that way.

It's interesting a saving you know even wealthy people are looking for cheap -- we had that founders of WT -- so -- -- sold now yeah.

And those guys are doing phenomenal and just because it -- looking for a -- on -- good want to.

So if it makes you wonder is it is the good wine industry kind of toast now now.

None of the -- -- -- market for that I think a look at -- that I just think that people are I think that people realize you don't have to spend a lot to -- great -- I think the last forty years in the us what was it last fifty years and one good thing.

Thanks to -- -- -- United States technology and UC Davis is the go to for so we want -- -- as -- over the world around I could be in the -- still -- Italy -- else they -- my -- has often UC -- in my -- UC -- And they all they getting married tradition with innovation from California.

We've made -- so.

Easily good to make what we -- -- -- it's not a big bad why today.

That even the values taste better than anything ever did fifteen years ago I mean a lot of -- fronts and but anyway so it values that are out there because they actually taste would listen -- -- -- As they might have 203040 years ago.

Let's just talk quickly about how session meeting has played into your whole one world because -- -- old school journal print journalists like yeah.

I have this where we came from this is kind of what I now and really what I still -- yet but at the same time that's not what the young -- are doing.

And my kids left -- marginal my papers and collagen almost on the type right electric -- -- class -- right so like everything crazy but.

Social -- so I guess I really I guess that the supply was born of everything -- -- talking about -- to the -- -- talking about this could be a Twitter is great.

FaceBook is great but they're blurbs and they're they're they're gone.

And I'd say you know strapped about the link to the 200 just posted your pictures talk -- -- meeting I I have so many amazing opportunities to taste and I think yeah I think the risk is untie your relatively people who are likely the food world.

That there are a lot of people who are not -- -- who just loved to hear about the stuff and -- without whereas you think I'm going to use Sunday hey you know and it took me -- to it that -- never appreciated it.

Or or god that I this -- special but I didn't really think that -- wanna hear about it because I think what -- -- think right exactly -- I'm not posting about this stuff under sharing information.

You can -- you have to -- it -- is forced him to go to.

And women have this.

-- up right now and so it's Anthony it DO dot com.

GI GL IO and of course you -- file them at -- got wine you know wise guy on Twitter read.
