I discovered a much more prevalent attitude at Columbia gilt.

Columbia University freshman veranda of the -- us joins us now in New York Brenda welcomed the program.

Thank you for having me so the role rich you -- -- -- and they all feel guilty right.

Another all of them but that's generally the case -- what's that political attitudes.

Colombia's are fairly liberal school almost Democrats I would badly about it do you think down liberals because -- guilty.

They get into plummeted wanna go to Columbia because they are liberals are -- Colombia's liberal.

And the fact of the old feeling guilty about that well that does not -- that politics -- I act I don't.

No I can speak for him way ahead.

Restrict yourself you don't think that's for and I saw a lot of that when I was at Harvard in the seventies guilty white liberals I thought it was ridiculous so I wouldn't liberal but -- not guilty by sun and that it USC Southern California nearly -- Iceland all of it to the London school of economics everybody was out of there while at the end institution okay.

Do you do any conservatives.

Well there are plenty really -- we have a very active.

And are -- guilty.

I would say -- areas rarely yes so that.

If this is fascinating is -- the rich are predominantly liberal but then not liberal because they're rich.

And conservatives.

Those few that there are -- Columbia they are conservative but not because they're rich and not because they guilty.

I I again I -- what are you.

I honestly IA and I I'd I'd vote.

On here I I -- based on whatever comes -- -- adamantly.

Alliance Atlantis -- observation well I write a biweekly column.

-- for the local cigarette counselor was -- talk about something and a friend called me the other day.

And actually said.

An -- throughout the course of the conversation that was really clear to me that he had -- sort of not very true and number of flooding stereotypes about what lesson out of universities like.

And most of them weren't true there are things like -- boys club attitudes and you know pretentious snobs but on the one thing -- issues.

Before I came here I've never been exposed to so -- apple and some -- -- -- -- be good idea to.

Write a column about.

They did the culture of the professors biased.
