Well despite what you -- -- can see on television all is not lost when it comes to this economy.

Even after a dismal jobs report for -- world there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

US companies posting the highest number of job openings in nearly four years a -- hiring could -- then in the coming months.

Employers advertise more than three point seven million job openings in March.

But before the confetti gets thrown there are roughly twelve million sorry twelve point seven million people unemployed.

That means an average of three and a half people competed for each job available.

Now while that's far better than the nearly seven to one ratio during the recession.

In a healthy job market that ratio is usually around two to one.

The other good news here competence among small businesses climbing in April to a fourteen month high as companies say they plan to boost hiring.

And in some states and cities that optimism is higher than in others Oklahoma City for example receiving top honors.

When it comes to running a small business the number one reason for the -- plus having the least burdensome regulations and rules.

It's time for government even state government to step back and -- small businesses -- don't burden them with ridiculous regulations and troublesome tax rates.
