I'm Tracy Byrnes Fox Business three plus service sector -- Slower than expected -- in April.

The latest index from the institute for supply management for non manufacturing activity slipped to a reading of 53 point five.

Its lowest reading since December and a new survey of economists just hiring for the rest of 2012 won't be as strong as it was earlier this year.

Going to the Associated Press survey of economists see it gradually improving jobs picture.

-- economy has entered a virtuous cycle in which -- boost consumer spending which fuels more hiring and spending.

And a surging credit card use help these supposed better than expected quarterly results -- not doing much for the company's stock today.
