Congress is working on possible changes to the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill that could benefit small businesses by an overwhelming bipartisan vote.

The house is approved a bill to help small and rural companies get loans and limit.

More of Dodd -- unintended consequences including new costs and regulations intended for big banks.

It is important that local businesses local manufactures and local farmers be able to access low rate interest loans from local.

While job creation overall it's far from robust some recent surveys -- job creation among small businesses is stronger than many people believe.

The latest monthly ADP employment report shows small businesses employ two point 6% more people in March 2012 than they did and and July 2009.

When the economic recovery started.

Compare that to big companies which employed slightly fewer people by last month.

In the 33 months since the recovery began the ADP report showed small employers adding two point six million jobs.

Another jobs bright spot was the Intuit small business index for march.

It's on employers adding 65000.

New positions the highest single month gain in two years.
