Well as you may now Mitt Romney now declaring victory in the Republican presidential primary.

He swept all five races this week and use his acceptance speech last night to -- the most important question of the campaign.

Four years ago Barack Obama dazzled us in front of Greek columns with sweeping promises of hope and change.

But after we came down to earth after all the celebration in the parades.

What are we had to show for three and a half years of President Obama.

Is it easier to make ends meet.

Is it easier to make ends meet well based on the numbers the answer for most of this is no.

Since Obama took office unemployment as you go is up.

You know that you know it's harder to find a job but here's the really disturbing trend in all of that the labor force participation rate.

I just how many people are working or unemployed but looking for a job.

This drop shows you people haven't just watched jobs they've lost hope hope of ever finding work.

Labor participation is now at the lowest level in thirty years since before women got into the labor force and -- And look at the change in wages.

-- just -- for inflation you the last three dollars and 23 cents after weekly paycheck that's a 168 dollars that you just won't -- this year.

It's just -- -- that much -- may not feel devastating but spread that wage across every working American.

Surreal crisis.

It all adds up to this after three and a half years of Obama in office you are less likely to have a job.

You're less likely to even consider yourself employable and if you -- lucky enough to have a job.

You're making less money.

Here's a test of the president's record tell -- what Obama said this.

There we are in the midst of crisis is not well understood our economy is badly -- homes have been lost jobs shed businesses shut up.

Our health care is too costly our schools -- through many.

Remember that that was the president's inauguration day speech day one of the Obama administration.

Is it any less true today than it was then considering -- Obama said when he became the democratic candidate for president in 2000 innate.

We Democrats have a very different measure.

Of what constitutes progress in this country.

We measure progress by how many people can find a job the pays the mortgage.

Where they can put a little extra money away at the end of each month.

President have come up far short.

When you go to the polls this November you should ask yourself this.

Are you better off.

And you were four years ago.

Is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores and -- was four years ago.

Number that.

That's what I think now I want to know what you think about this are you better off today than you -- four years ago it's a question we took to the streets of New York.

It's what people from all over the country had to say.

Job opportunities for my children are down so it's -- say the answer is definitively down.

Financially I would say I'm probably even thankfully I'm compliant my husband's -- client and now.

I can't say that we have been overly affected and my daughter on the other hand -- recent college graduate is under implying.

You know the job market is kind of crazy so when I -- graduated it was what I expected -- Sort of unsure about the future I thought the economy would it would be better that it was four years ago now -- now with politics and the way they're sort of bashing Obama he's sort of don't known which way to go.

We know which way to go wow we're getting a lot of response online to.
