-- -- getting another shot the company planning to Keystone Pipeline proposed canoe routes which would avoid.

Nebraska the environmentally sensitive areas in Nebraska at least and remembered the president -- blocked the pipeline over environmental concerns that was earlier this year so with more.

Let's come back as is senator John -- but I -- back to because he's joined this many times to talk about this topic Republican.

From North Dakota so it didn't said updated you cannot where we -- -- the house passed this transportation bill with keystone so what what where are we right now in terms of actually getting.

Something done is that realistic.

How good to be with you as you know we got 56 votes in favor of the project today in the senate.

And so we've been working to attach it in the house which we've now -- -- -- past.

-- highway bill and included the keystone XL pipeline.

At this point I expect we'll go to conference and I think -- -- very good chance to get it approved in conference because we have a majority in the senate.

And it passed that would with a big bipartisan majority in the house so I think at this point we go to conference and hopefully -- -- we'll get project approved.

Then DO way though on the president's desk right for a veto -- door how to do how do you expected to play out.

I believe it'll passed and attached the highway bill I think he'll sign -- -- this is needed infrastructure they can help.

Reduce gas prices that this is what we should be doing to increase supply growing the infrastructure is the right kind of steps.

And as part of a package that includes a highway bill I think he yes to -- no choice but decided to think because my impression of it all along was that.

The president was a nexus.

Environmental concerns within its own party.

Had to be on of cater to it's the right word or at least had to be paid attention to than after the election maybe you guys have a chance with what with keystone but you think it'll happen earlier now.

Well I he has been blocking it but we continue to build bipartisan support and like you say we had 56 votes in the senate and two of our Republican members were messing.

Sort of strong -- part of a majority in the senate.

It got a strong vote in the house.

We included as part of the package and I really think you know.

And and the package now includes other strong energy legislation I put forward as well.

Again this is about increasing supply that's what helps at the at the gas -- and that's what Americans want.

In terms of the geography of all this just to get that examination -- that its top.

Senators should look at where gas prices are now three.

89 almost 390s with the geography of -- -- the most environmentally sensitive areas in other words the place where a lot of people -- -- and now we don't want it there now it doesn't go there.

Right.

At Nebraska legislature and -- governor but they have approved a process to cite the -- so -- the only one holding up at this point is the president and again.

Gas prices are almost four dollars a gallon we need to take these measures to help our American consumers across the country.

Sought there on the map and with the area that was in question senator -- -- was.

Talking about we talk to the governor couple times in Nebraska outset to thank you very much for coming on appreciate it.

Thank you count.
