Now live David.

Thank you very much yes we have congressman Ryan -- us it's a perfect moment.

To ask about -- into war kind of shocking -- yeah he pulled out of the race will the GOP.

Now coalesce around.

Your budget plan I think -- -- -- our budget plan house Republican budget.

We're offering the country -- solution to our debt crisis we're offering country what we call path to prosperity.

A specific plan to prevent the debt crisis to save Medicare these other and -- important programs and -- get.

Tax reform to get back to growth and prosperity and job creation.

And so we're gonna go to the country saying we don't like the direction the president's -- yes it's not going very well for America.

Here's a better path forward so we give the people this nation the rights and the ability to choose a better path forward.

It's it's really your second -- because you came out with a -- about a year ago that a lot of people think the GOP did not coalesce around some of them were afraid to because they thought that the public might not quiet.

Is -- a different reception this time it is but we did pass at last -- the passage in the house with a great vote count just like we did couple weeks ago.

-- senate Republican that the senate.

Was -- -- -- but the senate Republicans voted for.

And more importantly a presidential candidates have embraced these kinds of reforms Mitt Romney who is our nominee I think today now we can statement -- is clearly the nominee.

He's embrace these kinds reforms which means.

We are going to go to the country -- a specific.

Affirming solution to America's biggest problems the president has -- he's avoiding responsibility.

He has yet to put a plant on the table to fix this country's debt crisis so -- -- the path to prosperity which is your budget plan will this become the blueprint.

For Romney administration -- what I think is the framework for how how you.

-- out of a hole where and how do you save Medicare and what what that document includes lots of ideas from the Bowles Simpson fiscal commission.

It includes the bipartisan consensus that's emerging on tax reform and Medicare reform.

It includes a government platform.

That is showing there's an emerging bipartisan consensus that if we can realize -- between thirteen we can save the country from the debt crisis here's -- -- we need new leadership.

The White House is is a partisan roadblocks in this.

The senate Democrats they haven't budgeted for over a thousand days so many people who will lead when he people talk straight the American people about the problems we have in this country.

And who are willing to fix the problem by putting a solution to the table and that's what we're trying to do here in the house and yes.

That is our platform go to the country with a mandate to fix this country's problems before we had a crisis what did you make of president Obama's critique.

Of your budget plan he said it was radical they call -- social darwinism.

You know unfortunately we're kind of used -- these verbal tensions the president.

I think it was a little more petrol and the presidential I guess I would say.

He doesn't have an agenda he doesn't he's offered a solution and so his plan has been wait for the -- offer their solutions and attack them.

I just don't think this kind of empty over the top rhetoric is very pretty low interest but I think it's -- six be successful and I think he's sad that he supported Simpson Bowles.

Last week and he said it was the Republicans.

That stood in the way Simpson -- no that's not true I was on -- -- -- Proposing alternatives and symbols -- put lots of the -- -- reforms in our budget.

But the president did not support -- -- -- disavowed some symbols head he supported some symbols you would have seen a completely different outcome I think.

With respect to budgets in the debt crisis he disavowed some symbols mountains.

Giving this this this statement that he was -- -- supportive of it which is not the case.

And what we're saying is let's take the good things for some symbols.

And then add the other things that -- not done in sensible that need to be done to prevent a debt crisis and then save the country that's the -- we're taking to the country.

That's what we're asking the country do is give us the kind of leadership we need.

To get us back and a -- prosperity.

And -- kids at every nation out the market is -- down again today might might be a temporary selloff what we're experiencing but what do you think the solution is.

To what is happening now on the market what's happening economy in general because the current growth levels that we have -- -- are not good enough that we we are not going near the capacity.

After the kind of recession we've had we should be growing at much much faster rates and the reason we're not is because of -- -- government activism.

The regulations the taxes and spending the borrowing that the quantitative easing all of this has put a cloud of uncertainty over the economy.

The sooner we can put in place -- they came workable fiscal consolidation plan.

To get the debt trajectory off it's terrible course the -- would you have a tax reform system.

The shows permanency in certainty in the tax code the sooner we can get rid of all these regulations that are chilling growth.

And give businesses more confidence and certainty with respect -- interest rates tax rates regulations in debt.

The faster we can grow the economy.

We have a partisan roadblock in the White House in the senate we had to get through that and then we can do these things get that prosperity final question now that there apparently is a Republican.

Nominees.

He's gonna look for -- running mate.

Would you accept that -- I don't know I that we.

It's something that you had to get a lot of -- -- sick.

Consideration to I haven't given serious consideration to exit somebody else's decision it's a long ways from now so.

May not that long for well known as an unfocused and in my job right now I think I can make a big difference appropriate congress is important and all this -- and I think -- can and it can play a -- program but that's not -- -- I don't know I haven't given enough thought and you have to -- that serious consideration no one's asked me to give answers to surgeons those to the point belabor congressman Paul -- thank you --
