The president a lot of other people in fact the only folks who wanna cut taxes are millionaires and billionaires I don't know anything about hard knocks how does that make you feel.

That they they really don't get it because in the state of Maine you paid a maximum tax rates -- make 191000 dollars.

So the president this not totally honest when he says that it's only for a wealthy people.

-- your tax rate is what about eight and a half percent in the state of Maine and you wanna cut that by how much.

Well I wanna get it down before we cut it from me half to seven point 95.

Last year.

More symbolically but we lowered the we eliminated the lowest rate at 2% and so now what we're trying to do is give it.

We have to rates now and we wanna lower get rid of seven point 95 stay down at the lawful assembly.

Have you had any reaction so far for businesses or are they waiting because they've heard a lot of promises about tax cutting and haven't seen it delivered.

Obviously Republicans believe this but are there Democrats who believe in tax cutting is well.

Not in the legislature.

That you cannot tax yourself to prosperity.

Have you had any kind of referendum was your election itself a referendum on whether or not to lower taxes.

I think my election itself as a referendum on people remain being fed up -- big government.

That's the way to prosperity do you think that will rub off -- all in the federal government.

Maybe after November when we get a new person there.

You don't see it happening with the the current president be re -- Now it's it took to the current president that is foreign language -- It we need someone that believes.

The American dream of self sufficiency.

Not someone that believes in entitlements.

That -- fact if they do that the momentum gets going that will spill over have a spillover effect in the federal government.

Both Democrats and Republicans by the -- some Democrats here were also.

Believe that cutting tax rates is the way to prosperity it's kind of the theme of the of the center obviously.
