Well of course it is the consumers -- the craft beer drinkers there's never been on a better time we're over 2000 breweries in the US today.
And it just seems that the bigger birds are a little bit out of touch and that's a huge advantage that we have -- were very high touch operation.
Were close to our customers.
But you're also a smaller operation happening up got small you're one of the top -- But yet but yet you do have a very small lean mean operation when it comes to employees and you're also 16%.
Employee owned it sting move by small business -- -- make that choice.
Well first of all I have no children -- except was for my employees.
And but it -- -- moved to where everyone really put their -- and soul in in what we do.
And it's just of logical for us to really be employee owned an employee control.
I have some of that day out bottles of beer here at that you that you -- I do have to say I was laughing at that your first delivery was to Johnny's Bart you walked your first -- what down the street across the street to your first customers -- -- Illustrated -- -- street and university avenue and late September of 1986.
So.
This is or 26 -- in business and we were one of the pioneers.
Of the craft brewing segment appear in the upper midwest.
And it's been a very interest in development within.
Past couple of years there's been about close to dozen new breweries -- have opened up in the Twin Cities market.
And our base continues to grow and so.
Were faced with any non -- Newbury that we just directed back in 1998.
Where we've built a custom facility from the ground up.
And that site area was designed for expansion so it's time for us to grow again -- any higher.
Well our.
Employee base has grown 20%.
Over last year and by the end of this year.
So certainly we will be.
And the types of jobs that we look forward today are pretty technical.
You were -- now micro biologist machinists.
A train brewers so.
As we grow we really need to develop our expertise.
In to continue to do so good beer mark to offer health care airplanes.
We do we actually have a very very strong.
Health care program and in addition -- that -- don't dental coverage and -- long and short term disability as an option.
Do you think that that's gonna remain -- I have to ask you will -- out of the president's health care.
A lot is being contested and I mean are you gonna keep your benefits as is for employees.
What color I can hear me -- -- you can every take a deep breath I'm sure.
We're we're waiting to see what happens and we've had a health care firm employees and -- started it something that's very important for our retention.
It's very important for us to keep good people and that's also by design our employee stock purchase plan.
We really want to have folks to stick in their so long haul because it it takes time to really build businesses -- anyone knows.
