Let's talk about -- -- that they makes us feel good baseball season underway NHL playoffs are about to hit -- What does this mean for business for my next guest is -- booming joining me now.

Chris -- -- guess he's the president of stub hub.

Chris good to see you based on sales so far what does the baseball season look like of these teams and tell me the -- might actually sells tickets.

-- baseball season looks great so far we had opening day last week but of course upon -- opening days this week as well both today and Friday.

During the course -- -- -- weak everything looks good in baseball.

And as we get ready for the hockey playoffs those those games look great as well and and of course we have basketball which is.

Starting to wrap up and we'll have playoffs at the end of the month.

Would continue to look at brawl -- the secondary market for tickets which is your business and tell me what -- economy looks like.

That are they good directly correlated can you tell me that the economy looks OK now based on total sales that it might be weakening.

In some ways.

Well what we see you -- -- -- is the world's largest online ticket marketplace and what's been interesting to see over the course the last few years is that.

As the economy gets worse prices average price has come down.

And as the economy gets better average prices come up.

Always seemed so far this year is that prices have been relatively flat and so what that indicates to me is that the economy is as steady it's not.

Growing it's not taking off but it's it's been -- what we will what -- seen in previous years starting in 2008.

And then again in 2009 was pretty dramatic year over year price decreases of nine or 10%.

And that hasn't been true so far this year in 2012 or for last year we -- price decreases across the board of maybe 1%.

Is there any one area of all that the businesses that you cover whether it's sports whether it's music -- starts.

That is seeing dramatic improvement in terms of big ticket sales but also as you pointed out.

The average ticket price.

Well I would say in concerts which is only about 20% of our business we've seen more dramatic.

Decreases in price and a year over year basis this year it's stabilizing.

We've -- great growth in in things like hockey.

That it has been a very strong growing category for us year over year.

And the areas -- we've seen tremendous growth is in mobile actually sort of not not.

A particular category but our mobile sales sales completed on a mobile devices and have grown over 500% to the point where there.

Over 10% of our overall business is here vs 0% two years ago.

That is incredible -- is good -- -- -- it's truly is you know what you have that failing your life.

I want to go to hockey game with -- I think -- -- -- -- that spur of the moment and your -- and that clearly Chris -- well please come back.
