The Supreme Court split right down ideological lines over which sections of Obama care it should survive.

It he has been a blistering battle the last three days right here in Washington DC and good -- -- it's tonight joins me from our New York studios with more a little break this CEO very clear that.

I ask you because it seems like we seem to be driving the -- towards getting rid of Obama care.

And if that happens what are the political implications.

Well the first political implication at least from my perspective Jerry is thank god we've got one part of this government that's working.

It is so refreshing to watch these justices analyze and to question in the advocates before them to do so in.

Brightly not just intelligently brightly.

With purpose.

So what are the implications this is to restore some faith just in the institution in the people who make up that court irrespective of the decision.

Actually irrespective the decision I agree with you it looks pretty clear that the individual mandate is insignificant.

Meaningful trouble.

Well interesting that the Supreme Court which is often been the place that liberals -- To get what they want they've relied on this institution for a very long time and now it really appears.

As if the weight of opinion seems to be the balance of the conservatives have some kind of momentum here.

But this raises a very big question if obamacare gets knocked out.

What does the president do for the rest of the year for the balance of his -- and what happens with his other initiatives.

It's you know I can't really answer the question what happens with his other -- issues because with -- -- -- and they say unfamiliar.

He doesn't have an energy initiative he does not have domestic policy initiatives.

To deal with.

With crime.

He does not have an education initiative.

What he did have.

And I put it in the past tense to this point was a signature -- obamacare.

That.

He misrepresented.

In its cost in its coverage.

And and its impact to American society.

And by the way I think that's very clear to everyone of these justices whether they be style conservative or liberal.

Or or swing a vote as in the case of broad Justice Kennedy.

This is remember all law.

That was rammed through the United States congress -- the United States senate not a single Republican voted for -- in the house.

And everywhere and they only Republicans who voted for -- became a Democrat to do so he was Arlen Specter in the sixtieth vote.

This is not going to be persuasive in any kind of significant expression of the popular will.

-- the Supreme Court reviews this case.

Well I want you to respond to something we -- today formally indicate and the Supreme Court justice talking about this law -- -- -- Why is a big gift from the federal government.

A matter of coercion it's just a boat -- of federal money for you to take and spend on poor people's health care.

It doesn't sound coercive to me I have to tell you.

And -- you make of that low.

Well I it is a typical.

Forgive me for -- -- I think Carolina -- is a bright and justice.

But in this she reveals here.

I mean perspective.

And this stage the governor's I assure your -- Roman Georgia we do not look at this is a great big just boatload of money.

They look at it is coercive because if they do not followed they did of the federal government when it comes to bring the expansion of Medicaid.

They are threatened with bone loss.

Of other federal -- it is utterly coercive the justice knows better and in this she is being an advocate more than she is being in my.

Judgment at least.

A justice.

Well you know it's interesting it -- the Republicans here.

Seem to be deciding that we have the momentum here there really get that go with yes.

It's going to be interesting to see how they respond politically what's your projection.

My view is that it's going to be in this will not be earth rumbling of all.

But I do believe it's going to be a very close decision and I do believe that the individual mandate will be struck down.

I for one cannot imagine how.

The rest of obamacare can be saved.

-- because it is.

I just a pitifully thought out and disorganized FISA legislation more than 2700 pages we've heard.

Justice Scalia talked about -- if were upon measurement to date -- stop until the certain deputy solicitor general -- really.

Saying no way would be read this means the Supreme Court justices haven't read in congress hasn't read the senate -- read that the president didn't read it.

It's how we got into this mess the whole thing needs to go down.

Well.

You know little.

Thank goodness for you because you always say exactly what you think we don't have to guess about it a pleasure having you on the show to be -- show yourself sir thank thank you.
