Shares of American Express are getting a boost after the credit card company increased its quarterly dividend 11% shareholders will receive twenty cents a share instead of the previous eighteen cents.
This is American Express is first dividend increase since November 2007.
The company also announced a stock repurchase program about 150 million shares.
Boeing delivered two of its new 780 sevens with the General Electric engines to Japan airlines today.
