Men just could -- had I'm not talking eight Republican nominee on talking maybe the next president -- states that -- he gets past tomorrow's crucial southern -- In Alabama and Mississippi with a -- possibly even two -- He is not only on his way to being the party's choice -- that it wants to -- ABC news poll is correct.

He has already been -- to this Romney narrowly edging out the president.

If the election were held today Romney telling these earlier he's on -- way to locking up the nomination and the sooner the better -- the GOP.

But look we've we've got a very substantial lead Rick santorum's campaign put -- memo -- I think today talking about how they can go to brokered convention -- think they can -- some delegates to.

To go from committed to uncommitted -- may be supporting him look if we go to all the way to convention what do we would be.

We would signaling our doom in terms of replacing President Obama we need to select someone to become our nominee.

Get that person nominated and get focused on President Obama and get him out of the White House.

I think what he was saying our governor and I could that is -- wrong we've which articles office August.

Posit that the momentum would be -- -- -- than in other words.

You would probably have the lead I guess -- -- -- you would have locked down 11144 delegates he needs.

To be the -- to momentum would be with him.

Wavering the delegates would would would opt -- you don't envision.

No hope we haven't seen that happen so far.

We just we won Michigan Arizona.

Ohio and of course a little earlier Florida -- New Hampshire -- these important states that make a real difference.

I mean everybody has a scenario where they can become -- nominee that's fine but that's what we have a primary process and so far we've got I don't know 22 and a half times as many delegates as he has.

And that and by millions of more votes and he has.

And you know that's a major political process if he is able to pull off a miracle Soviet he'll be the dominate but you know.

We haven't as selection process for the middle of it I'm leading it strongly I'm gonna continue Italy that you're gonna see me get in the delegates I need to become the nominee.

And we surest -- -- -- a go to a convention all the way to the end of August to select a nominee.

And -- have campaigned ahead of the working at during -- convention wife I can imagine anything that would be a bigger gift to Barack Obama.

That us that having a nominee until the end of August that -- is not gonna happen.

Army do you get a sense that you have to win one of -- in southern states up for grabs tomorrow Mississippi and Alabama because it campaign -- -- because this is one region.

That you've you've been -- You know actually not this is to know and I mean John McCain didn't -- when he that this states Alabama Mississippi.

We're delighted that we're doing so well there.

That the polls are are suggesting is kind of a three way tie.

It's and it's an away game for me I had a big day on Super Tuesday.

They'll be some other states coming up like a like New Jersey and Utah new York and California real big states -- -- expect to do real well expect to get some good delegates from Texas and other places.

But.

You know I'm delighted that the people of Mississippi and Alabama.

Have a look at this race and say you know what we need to get behind the guy who can actually beat Barack Obama.

And I can and get a guys -- nice folks but they have an organized a campaign with a staff the organization the fundraising capacity to actually -- Barack Obama.

I have and that's why I think among other reasons how many people and Mississippi and Alabama are are joining my effort.

Do you think over the fact that people like Sarah Palin just recently endorsed his Gingrich and the conservatives are still holding back are -- that if you were to become the nominee of your party -- you would almost have to put.

A conservative a real.

Little -- easier as a result but you know notoriety you on your ticket.

Well that would preclude of course Rick Santorum.

Because I mean look at his record -- I find it interesting that he continues to describe himself as the real conservative this is the guy who voted against right to work.

This is the guy that voted to fund Planned Parenthood.

This is the person who voted to raise the debt ceiling five times so what are your way thank you we're not -- -- not hundred Santorum.

On the United States my way of saying hit its my way of saying that Rick Santorum is not a person who's an economic conservative to my right.

I'm saying I'm a conservative I give him credit for being conservative but not a fiscal conservative his record does not suggest he's got the fiscal conservative -- That I have.

All right and that brought.
