I'm gonna talk about this company it's a semiconductor chip maker called -- -- its betting.

And the future is riding on super fast programmable.

Chips these chips -- what -- say take on whatever property.

The company that's buying them needs to half the stock hitting an eight year high today and the CEO is with us to lay down his strategy exclusively.

What's that -- -- -- as the man in charge she joins us out of Fox Business exclusive from San Francisco and first of all.

But what a day eight year high for this company and I'd really like to know what are the biggest.

Sort of regions areas because you -- chips to -- -- you're an aerospace you're in robotics surgery here at all kinds of businesses.

But what is the strongest business right now that's driving.

These numbers.

What we said this over 20000 customers at any point in time in lots of applications and they tend to ebb and -- so business grows as a result.

-- that regardless of if there's a -- area.

One of the areas which is growing very rapidly for us now is the world of communications.

If you look at told Smartphones the mole -- infinite well of bandwidth requirements that just going through the roof.

If you look at what AT&T is just looking around for additional spectrum for wireless she is the -- so basically bringing it system.

That's down so that in terms of design wins is actually off fastest growing area at this point in time wireless is his growing.

Very -- in terms of new business for.

There is an unbelievable thirst for band with this everybody seems to have flipped the switch and -- on the Internet whether it's first.

What can of downloading two hour movies from Netflix -- -- got on YouTube for hours and hours but your customers Microsoft IBM Sony GE.

-- -- Cisco NASA as I mentioned LGC you've got just an incredible panoply of customers and my my interest for our investor audience is.

You know you think these chips that take on the properties of whether it is aerospace defense hand held Smartphones things like that.

It into an average investor can you explain how would you do that how do you put that on a tiny piece of silicon -- So we typically use the most -- two months manufacturing technology that's why it was so important for us to be first that the 28 nanometer node which is the -- -- available.

And we just have a the largest devices with the largest number of transistors on them and then we have families which go from the -- just which has.

Seven billion transistors all the way down and the transistors are configured they're connected in way.

That the customers can change the connections and change the way they operate.

And they can do that dynamically.

They can do that even up to the chips are deployed in the system they can upgrade.

That through software that we provide to our customers and that flexibility is very unique it.

The -- typical semiconductor companies have a fixed form and function exactly are isn't since the ultimate in terms of flexibility.

You know one company can use it for one entirely different thing than another I just find it fascinating.

But you need to write the book semiconductors for dummies because I still -- -- it's unbelievable but how you distinguishing yourself from say Altera which has gained some market share recently.

Coming up on the rear you have 50% market share a little bit of erosion there what are you gonna do to say to customer -- were better than Altera.

What we were intent on being first to the -- -- 28 and the -- terror and we've delivered that we.

-- -- first we deliver products first we have ten products maturity.

Our house in the market and we.

Have support this product offering and we believe very firmly but it's the best product offering our customers are telling.

That that clearly is the case and to date we've seen Iran pub which is to -- What we've seen in -- have been previous generation of product so we think we're the gates first and we're -- the gates process.

Eight year high your -- right now good to see -- -- thank you very much for joining us to talk about silence.

Thank you -- it up real -- in San Francisco I mean.

Mansion on a tiny chip it'll work in robotics surgery or well you're Smart -- and -- -- it's very Smart we're watching that company.
