Now because that -- American businesses have got to provide the best possible value for their customers off if working with people overseas helps to do that it's completely against the interest of us as consumers.
And it's against the interest of really strong competitive companies company should do the most they possibly can for the customers and at that involves doing summit transferred some of the skills just overseas.
Voice and all of our interest and also makes our companies more competitive on a global basis.
Absolutely and -- we talk about the stock market every day and it's being the pillars in the market these multinationals.
With tentacles and -- the 67 the other countries.
And I think you know what the issue there is I don't know what it would what -- limit what tax breaks the president could be talking about it got one and a half trillion dollars sitting offshore because it it would be taxed again have been brought back to America.
What the other tactic better would have been better to say let's -- bring this money back we'll give you break on the taxes and -- -- to help you some -- -- to create jobs.
Yeah I think that's one method.
-- I think I think one of the challenges the government's got to do is its got such a deficit that.
I'm I'm always a little cautious about anything it does for anybody that actually.
-- helps increase the size of the deficit but the I that would actually do some stimulation -- jobs I think most of the time most of these companies have got a lot of -- actually got a lot of capability.
They need to just get are more encouraged about the growth of the over overall economy -- to make those kinds of investments.
And the stronger the company is in terms of the more can do for the customers wherever that still -- comes from.
Is is is the better and by the way American companies as you see in terms how well are doing globally American companies are extraordinarily good at this this is something we should double -- -- Well Brad does speaking of skill sets isn't a dirty little secret if we are going to attract global jobs.
Then maybe pay we'll have to come down in this country for some of those jobs.
Yeah have bubble I tell you I don't think that's I don't think that's a sustainable.
When I was CEO Best Buy but I I was if it did -- pay went up I was in news.
Because you had a more motivated staff bit more vested interest in serving the customers better stuff.
I don't wanna reduce our standard of living in the United States -- wanna go the other way when that and I think what we gotta do to make that happen.
If we -- to be able to do things other countries can't do there's -- there's plenty of examples the United States where there's lots of stuff we do that other countries are you.
We just have to build on that -- more of that not I don't wanna looser standard of living.
I bring a 1000% but you know I know some of these jobs that they do and other countries -- -- -- do it cheaper is going to be tough night that this -- stuff to science technology engineering map we should be really really focused on that.
What about the idea -- The part of the moral case the -- the results about a pound the table that this just simply moral argument that you guys in the business sector should simply be building and hiring Americans.
Well I think we should let.
But what -- you can't hire somebody alleging got a customer referral or your hiring before because the other side this is pay attention to what we -- customers want.
So I'm gonna hire somebody to build something nobody wants -- -- gonna stay in business very along and it's not very good for the company or the customer.
Or the country that you're getting -- -- -- -- -- -- late the end of the day you gotta serve somebody with a work that you do in you have to pay attention that whole thing.
For and I and I -- it that from the country's standpoint we got to be more and more competitive in terms of what we do and we're already a high standard of living country we got to do things and actually build on that standard of living and I think we've got that we've got the capacity to do what you just -- -- this account.
I agree with -- analysts we've got a minute left that I wanted to sort of said wait a Best Buy you know you started as a commission sells personal way to work the way up to CEO.

That you're gonna change the -- the business from consumer electronics and consumer needs -- -- Best -- shopper I've been very unhappy in recent visits to the store do you fill that do you understand that the you know that the companies -- some trouble right now.
Yeah lots obvious because were worse -- -- best -- I've been gone for two and a half years like I don't have any internal knowledge but.
I assume -- certainly seeing how the company's performing it's losing some of its customers in some of its franchise.
That's directly affected by not serving customers well as it needs to do and it.
The great things you saw we've always reporting from Consumer Electronics Show this is an industry that is very challenging always and transformation so.
If if the company can figure out how to get that right and get lined up with a customers and a better way than it is doing right now -- have a great future it's gotta figure out how to do that.
Before I let you go would you say though what's happening to them as an example of creative destruction and -- so is there anything they can do to avoid it.
Yet if somebody has spent 36 years -- the last place I wanna see creative destruction is -- best.
But I do think creative destruction is is is is a really powerful positive thing and the pressure best buys under the get better is a very good thing for Best Buy for -- -- Spread a singular best I appreciate -- job creators alliance and also former Best Buy CEO really appreciate your time in in -- was them.
