What we got -- -- -- with us his co panelists on the five she's here and we've got three topics today first the Obama administration using taxpayer dollars upon.

A hot line for illegal immigrants.

We make of that -- Well I I have a little bit of a softer take on immigration than some conservatives but in this.

I I can't really get behind this using taxpayer dollars to help people who've broken the law I mean essentially.

You come here legally you break the -- if Democrats have an issue with this the nation -- a lot of thirty on the books Charles that says that when you come here.

Illegally it's a -- You're absolutely right I mean you're enabling -- -- but here's a here's my take on this island there's a two pronged approach and attended to first of all.

The president's -- at the -- all year long all the minute you know all this entire term.

Taking away their -- slowly but surely to me.

-- you know he's there he's telling illegal immigrants or possibly illegal immigrants -- you were arrested by.

A sheriff someone armed -- called the federal government there usurping the powers and the rights of states.

That's kind of scary stuff to me.

They are and they're not enforcing the current laws on the books they're just ignoring them so if you come here legally.

They're saying not a problem actually call is as you say -- help you out -- -- and there's a lot of people waiting in line to be American citizens.

We're doing the right way we're doing it legally and they feel like I mean I couldn't get a driver's license the other day.

A lot of other people are trying to like that mayor in Connecticut you think you're only the legal driver's -- meanwhile I'm standing at the DMB Charles like.

And today.

-- tell you -- in other star of the five what would happen.

Had carries no pulse actually in New York State actually that are not in government -- I gotta say though I think that's going to be a thing though for next -- is gonna continue that I president going after states.

Taking away their rights because he -- essentially -- government also he'll be of the use the old civil rights argument that states held you know.

That of -- wasn't for the federal government then announced that's right.

And Newt Gingrich really has the best platform on immigration out of everybody he's it's it's it is compassionate.

I well that's equities real closely to our next topic the Iowa -- just four days away the GOP.

Still not really -- a clear cut leader or or or has been Romney really emerge.

Well that they -- Iowa polls there so tough to actually digest and dissect because of the nature of the complex nature of these caucus structures.

But it looks like Romney is holding steady in the twenties but he stayed in the twenties for this entire time.

And some and I think is pretty telling is his campaign committed to do interviews the day after -- the former campaign Press Secretary you don't do that mr.

-- really -- And so I think it got internal numbers that show that -- are going to either come in first or second.

With Ron Paul.

Either coming in first -- second and so right out of the gate that next morning.

The Romney campaign is gonna say you have a choice now it's meat or hand going into New Hampshire which is a state -- actually geared to both of them.

A month ago those with the Republicans are saying it's nice and healthy to have you know the fight it out -- in other go from state to state without a clear winner.

But it feels like this has been almost like -- bought billions on this stuff with the GOP to be honest with you.

Would be better for the party have a Romney gets we will no win quick and -- get it over with them became that the candidate that they all the sort of -- around.

It would be in one sense but it's not good if you're conservative like mean you really want the best candidate I mean I think the democratic -- process of actually play out it's not good for Varney and company it's someone just -- and -- -- -- nothing to talk about how boring would that -- Well I this -- be some gaps out there but but that.

Who's -- best conservative candidate.

I'm Rick Santorum who surging now I mean he is a true conservative.

It conservatives just are looking for somewhere to go plan at the majority on islands are -- are centrists and don't you want some.

-- the end of the day at the end of today.

You might have that -- -- head of the.

You want to win the most but don't you above all else have to have a candidate you'd think -- be the other side the most well I don't I don't think that a centrist arguably could be Brack Obama I've I've said this about Mitt -- like.

Well Chris if you have Mitt Romney flip flopping on issues of climate change and of abortion that's gonna be just is unsettling to an independent or -- or a moderate like.

They're centrists out there on on social issues like abortion and they see adds that the you know conservatives are running on anti bush needs he -- an anti homosexuality.

That's up.

Fills you with because the centrist which is this huge group -- 1%.

-- big fervent conservatives 20% fervent liberals the rest of it in the middle kind of via which way to go yeah that puts everybody yet or not.

Was pro life and he want -- the economy I don't have to tell you about the economy's the number one issue if it wasn't in such dire straight didn't have a bonding bill again maybe people would care Chris if the economy we're not in the gutter but.

People don't care about abortion if you noticed this celeb I think people do for the GOP normally no.

I don't -- just jump in -- say that the 2010 election that the mid term election.

Felt like that that the lesson that should have been learned was that if you if you don't.

Focus on the independence -- you go strictly to part to the right in the you know they have the GOP squandered a couple of incredible opportunity.

Yes the number one issue to independence is the deficit.

You look at the past GOP presidents Republican presidents have all been social conservatives for the most part.

So to say if someone who's pro life and very socially conservative can't went.

I just don't buy that look I think this country is looking for someone to step up to -- and turn things around.

With a bold plan in -- with a home run hit not be single -- and Romney.

I like Romney I will get behind and he's the nominee but it feels a little bit like an arranged marriage to me at a -- down the island -- someone that I'm not love went somewhere a lot of.

Let's talk about someone at your love with President Obama.

-- -- -- any.

No can take away I was I'm an alignment -- that no longer take Osama bin Laden away from the president.

Everyone agrees that for the most part that's been one of his -- and that -- shining its moment so far at least it's 111.

Anything else that it that he accomplished this year that.

Michael got nothing -- -- -- -- told us they had dinner out this is the moment I've been waiting for I have been waiting for this vote for the entire 2000.

Later and you -- to compliment President Obama on something that he did is I think he's an excellent husband and father.

OK I mean that's sort of it's sort of platform I agree with what.

What about this -- About the benefits is that a lot of people were a little light personalized matter you can -- and -- -- -- and.

Personalized grew to personal life matters but it look better than -- Newt Gingrich -- the nominee.

They would definitely that make it an issue his past I do think Obama is a great father and that has been and I've been asked this -- -- -- about this question you can well I -- And fifth and you can't find an answer.

I do that -- that's -- -- -- his suits.

But they're not you learn they're not as bid as house pains and we'll make worse -- appreciated.

You think entered into miles thank you very much -- in.
