Well as you know the boss George Steinbrenner.

Except for his family in the Yankees he loved college football that was his passion.

He coached at Purdue in northwestern.

-- we built the new stadium he wanted to make sure.

That we could play college football there and we have.

We've had a lot of great games.

And bowl games -- present performance and excellence so.

This is really a tribute to the boss and every time we play the game would be -- we honor -- especially with these two great institutions.

And I got to tell you Randi just checking out some of the players that do these guys played football and basketball.

I've been pretty big -- bizarre thing and I know I think you know bill whatever they want to do.

That's probably -- a -- the other day know what's gonna sell off with a market when those guys around.

We're gonna build one thing though that I have -- what with sports and I mean listen.

Payrolls are expanding like crazy I know it's a big money thing they've been a couple of strikes and some labor shortages.

And it goes like organizations like yours have to figure out different ways.

-- it to make money so this is something we're gonna see here we're gonna see more uses.

Out of Yankee Stadium do we see like monster truck rallies and things like that.

Well when we built this.

ADM and it's such a great venue we wanted to be around and it has been in addition -- college football.

And of course baseball which is what we do.

We've had a lot of concerts and -- are always planning other ways and better ways to use this stadium.

So it's you know where -- where not only eight great baseball team.

-- where an entertainment company and we tried to.

Use our resources and the best ways we cash.

You know speaking of great baseball team.

In New York gets it's always you guys come up short of you don't win the World Series you know you obviously realize that you set the bar pretty high I was looking for next year.

Well it's true unless we -- the World Series.

The -- -- has always been this season is a failure and we came up -- last year we got a great team.

We have 97 wins we're constantly trying to improve.

And -- promised all Yankee fans we're gonna have a championship caliber team out there as we try -- do every year and what about.

But on the on the other side of the other side of the business and TV side seen some real big contracts coming in the NFL here gigantic.

It went when when when you're only seeing is that do you immediately start calling -- phone calls is okay hey guys conference's start to -- negotiate a little bit.

Well you know it baseball it's a little different there -- a lot of local contracts.

In addition to national contracts obviously the Yankees we have our own television network the -- network.

But Major League Baseball on the commissioner Bud Selig is going to be negotiating new national contract soon.

And I'm confident he'll do -- great job been securing the -- contracts for the game I mean baseball.

This had.

Under his leadership many many years of of great success and it's still the national pastime and hopefully it'll be many years.

Going forward where including many championship Yankee seasons.

I think it's the national pastime but college football bowl games right up there with the congratulations on both branding power thank you so much and come on out tomorrow -- I'll try to make -- -- -- Thank -- like I've listened time now for the morning go overboard have been talking about it and we have to look at it because this thing is a train wreck.
