-- and -- linking job seekers with recruiters may be getting easier job search engine identified.

Is that -- -- system using rankings based on data from FaceBook and joining us -- -- tell us more is Brandon Wallace co-founder and CEO of identified.

So -- -- to it's great to have you see your gathering all of this information from companies universities as well as job seekers.

Putting it all together in coming out with a score for the job -- tell -- more that would identified -- what you found.

Yeah ultimately what we are -- we -- the largest database of professional information on FaceBook so what that means is.

We have access to nearly fifty million FaceBook profiles and through those profiles need access to one point two.

Billion data points a professional information which includes people's work history information and where they went to school basic demographic data.

It's ultimately we started the company to make the labor market more transparent with this information so we want to do is.

Open a channel of communication -- companies could actually communicate.

With professionals and job seekers what we do is we -- technology.

That looks at what companies are searching for right now what's in demand what jobs they looking for what skill sets -- educational backgrounds are they looking for.

We communicate that back to the users in the -- been identified score.

What that identified score is information about.

How your background is perceived by companies what's in demand and we're seeing is that's information you can't get from job boards he can't get from FaceBook you can't get from -- So ultimately it's our hope that with this information equipped with this information users will make the best career decisions possible.

And what about the companies because you have -- like Eric Schmidt from you Google and some mothers that are giving you some money.

What do they hope to accomplish in terms of funding you help me funny that this project more than what they're seeing as they wanna make the -- Market more transparent -- there's obviously a problem for companies and finding the right talent.

And what's happened is that Lincoln attracts an older demographic the average data -- Lincoln is 44.

And that's very hard if you're trying to attract a younger segment younger audience of talent.

It's very hard to access them but they're -- on FaceBook.

So identified provides a channel access access that younger audience of talent that's very hard hit with Lincoln -- job -- now the score view.

Fact sheet is not static that can change on a daily basis despite adding information subtracting information.

So how do you bet that information how do you prevent people from its so he's an -- got -- back pregnant so famous -- -- for the square is actually dynamics of cement her look companies are searching for -- -- news based on the demand for different skill sets and educational backgrounds so.

One thing we see with with actually lying on the site we've -- very very little that for two important reasons.

One we make the profiles public so.

People don't want information public about themselves that misrepresents them -- -- one kind of self policing mechanism we Milton of the site.

Second thing as.

FaceBook has done a lot of our self policing work for us because no one really likes to lie about themselves on FaceBook -- -- Put misinformation about myself on FaceBook all my friends we gonna see that information call -- -- yet to great way to kind of self police the site.

Based on this -- public -- of these profile.

So I don't wanna get this first white Paper you guys did revenge of the -- even building this database -- -- -- a little bit here what are you find it for this white Paper so I think what's also just before jumping into the findings which really interesting about this study is that it's one of the first studies that's ever been done.

Using information directly from the labor force and so.

Most of live the employment studies that you see our surveys that are either taken by the government -- information directly from companies and payroll data usually from ADP.

But we do is we went directly.

Two to our user base to the labor force.

We -- information from FaceBook about.

Where they're changing jobs what industries they're going into what companies they're going to work for so -- what's actually very logical place to -- this high industry is hot industry -- tac.

Right now so we're seeing that.

Engineers are incredibly in demand and you see that reflected in very high salaries for engineers -- very missiles very low unemployment rates.

So we want to look at why that was the case we look at supply and demand.

It's on the demand side one thing's clear text booming and the demand for engineers is that all time highs it's estimated that.

But Tony eighteen.

Nearly 178000.

New engineering jobs are gonna be created to give me a quick example a high score for an engineering tech related fields so a very high score for an engineer right now -- be an -- -- FaceBook or Google because they're so heavily sought after but according to -- -- processing on the -- -- -- area.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- On Liotta Ron but I did want to make one point before -- -- we went on the air you said.

Even engineers -- -- getting jobs in other fields yeah because they they have engineering backgrounds and engineering degrees certainly helps them that's a -- right.

Sort of it's an engineering school reading good to see an end thank you -- -- -- Wallace from identified.

Yes I don't have my degree in public I didn't mean to remind -- I tried to.
