All many sectors today Chris pylori is the most wonderful time of the -- I'm not even talking about the holidays it's college football bowl season.

And -- -- big business.

For the schools the host cities in title sponsors of these games joining me now from Atlanta politics the labels Steve Robinson.

Senior vice president at AAA Gary stoke and president of its six late peaceful to it individuals that that I go way back with.

From a days and sports talk radio in Atlanta good see you both again Steve -- I would view.

You it should always been associated with this -- now for fourteen years.

What we see title sponsors coming go and ball games why is it made sense for -- latest stick with this for so long.

Chris you're right this year will be -- -- fifth fifth think you're that your -- ball.

We started one -- -- was less than a billion in sales we were predominantly -- southeastern Graham.

But we -- getting involved with the ball will allow us to look -- a platform to start building that your flight brand beyond just.

The regional footprint.

And the magic of the Atlantic Coast Conference married with the eight SEC in this game appealed to us because.

At least we're gonna -- built from our base.

And we had aspirations that this bowl game could potentially one day be one of the premier bowl games and America.

And though we're still on that journey but we feel like we thought I had the privilege to work and we're hearing his team to.

Since the chick filet bowl become something very special.

Gary why has that been the case because we've seen that Cotton Bowl lose some of its luster we see -- some of these other -- games.

Gonna lose their luster and the check the labels actually got in the other direction it's actually picked up its esteem within the college football world.

Well I think Chris it's important to have a partnership rather than the sponsorship and that's so we enjoy was Steve and his team and chick filet.

We meet on a monthly basis both of our teams together.

We plan and put -- strategy together that benefits both the ball and chick filet.

So I think that's the main component obviously the number two.

Steve mentioned the ACC SEC match up.

Great geographical match up where people can get to our ball game.

We've got a lot of alumni living in metro Atlanta.

Being in the Georgia down at 72 degrees guaranteed.

And then I think ESP and certainly out with an out of closed TV time slot our ratings we -- four.

Of the top ten bowl broadcast on ESPN ever.

And last year we had eight point four million viewers.

And anyone point -- viewing our game so those are some of the key factors -- why I think the -- been so successful.

They -- Gary I love watching you tell us Dayton Ohio play in the humanitarian -- what a lot of other people don't they shake their head and they say -- -- -- bowl games out there do you feel that way or do you think the current system works the way it's set up.

Well I I think the -- system -- -- given the -- and the Constance of what the president's one they don't want it to semester sport.

They don't wanna -- -- they wanna keep their traditions of the -- That have all over a hundred years have really built great tradition in college football.

And been a big supplier of financial wherewithal to the universities and will enjoy our 44 game this year.

And we've given out a 110 million dollars and pay out over those 44 years to universities across the country.

So and that's one bowl game.

So the bulls have been influential.

With the colleges throughout those hundred years I think the presence want to keep that.

I think you know the two games that you saw that went down -- the last second.

I mean those -- exciting.

Great TV ratings.

Good attendance and after all bulls are -- reward for players in the national championship is number one -- number two.

All other bulls -- -- for players 7000 players will get a chance to experience what you saw this past weekend on TV.

Yes Steve -- -- wrapping up with this from -- is perspective -- from the south I know it's a blaze of very charitable organization had to -- -- label.

-- cancer charities.

Chris and we got -- in the bowl we partner -- his staff to really try to ramp up.

Of the chair of the side of the truthfully -- saw annually we give.

In partnership -- the ball about one point two million dollars.

Over and above that thing payouts.

And gifts to different -- around Atlanta and we also give each university 100000 dollars scholarship.

Donation.

When they attend the -- -- bowl.

I think that makes us the number one charity -- in the United States it's a big part of -- way we try to take that value.

And into the value proposition of the chick filet bowl the trust me.

University president certainly -- the -- and a lot of the made a lot of charities around Atlanta benefit from the -- foibles.

No doubt about that say what's the my next question would be what is six legal and public -- -- wanna buy piece that comfortable with completely at a time.

I can't go to mechanics I'm behind -- -- could -- -- -- behind me Kyra that everybody else in the south for shared around the -- the country they're gonna find out Steve -- good chatting with you get guys.
