-- looking at the bleak economic prospects here.

And saying hell no we woke up.

Well I think you know part of the results where we're seeing is the confidence that the citizens of the state.

Have gained from.

The passage of the law they were overwhelming in in favor of the law and and their confidence is gaining in interest creating momentum in the economy here in the states.

Maybe what's created.

The provision in it.

Entry about what you're doing sort of sort of mean they disrespect but maybe it's -- -- improving economy we've seen a pick up in real estate not a lot.

-- seem to tick up in a lot of key economies in your state not a lot but enough.

And that that's what's doing it not so much this crackdown what -- -- -- Well I think to crack down might be a part of -- around leave it it's the whole thing I think if you look at the actual numbers.

That the state has put out you know our workforce is actually dropped by about 7400 people.

Since the last month so I think the drop in the unemployment is it somewhat skewed -- -- of those leaving.

The workforce but -- -- that I I believe average citizens.

Really feel good about the law and and are trying to support the measures of the state government.

What the law requires it without getting it's too much detail here is that.

You just have to prove both on the departed employer that we are hiring is someone who should be here are not legal.

And on the a part of of of those legally applying for the jobs that they have proof of that indeed they are.

That's correct and that's always been been the case employers and had to -- -- how high nines for the federal government for years.

I -- -- you guys had so much for Greece -- doing basically what the federal law requires.

Apparently the federal government.

Doesn't appreciate the stage trying to offer the help you know we're here to support the citizens of Alabama try to do everything we can.

To ensure their safety and their economic stability here in part of that is enforcing.

The immigration laws inside the boundaries of the state of Alabama.

On there are many who don't like what you do and they said that it's and anti immigrant that they don't even say illegal immigrant.

What do you -- to answer that and organizations and companies and firms that will avoid your state as a result.

Well I think.

You're not gonna find that many businesses avoiding the state of Alabama.

We want reputable.

Well intended.

Business owners that are gonna hire legitimate citizens within the state of Alabama.

We have multiple companies here that are doing that -- auto industry.

In research genetics and I believe that this momentum will continue in this state because of efforts of immigration -- not despite it.

All right senator very good going good -- you thank you very much of a Merry Christmas.
