Tool months is too little Republican Texas congressman -- Michael Burgess -- no vote if it's.

We're coming out tonight on just a couple month extension so Ben what congressman because I guess there there are many agree -- -- -- what.

Well deal's first -- thanks for having me on.

We sent the senate to pay a good proposal wasn't great but it was a good solid proposal last weekend for the life of me I cannot understand.

Why if this was so important to -- it would not have taken up that bill.

If they had problems with a specific paid for.

-- deal with that but to come back with two month extension two months tax policy.

Here's what's heartbreaking for me that doctors to get a two month extension on their Medicare payments.

They've already gotten an email from the center for Medicare Medicaid Services today saying we're likely to hold -- -- the first of January.

Neil let's -- the Democrats 220 can we ran against that.

So there's no way in the world I can be for this thing.

That the senate sent back now it's Pacific crest is Jason -- your colleagues seem to agree -- van den where do we stand the -- essentially gone.

But it assuming you reject this two month effort tonight and that and I guess when we won't know we -- -- but they're dead then.

What does that mean that no one police are prisons Vick case and our people are waiting you don't -- it -- Ideally we would stay here and get -- work done if there is indeed a motion to go to conference tonight which is what should happen when the house and senate disagree.

A motion to go to conference decides if you don't go to concerts -- -- when they leave.

-- I was in Dallas last night I came back this morning there's no reason -- world the senators can't come back.

At least the conferees and do their work and that we can all come back week after Christmas -- this thing up or down and and carry on but we've got to do a better job and there's two months this is like you that legislative equivalent of the dog ate my homework.

Is -- going to be any easier on Groundhog Day for us to come to an agreement that it was on Christmas easy answer is no of course not.

What happens is you get further into -- Very political year and is gonna get harder and who's gonna suffer well the payroll tax folks and the doctors and certainly the unemployment insurance not all of that policy -- I agree with I was willing to accept it -- from the greater purpose.

But this is there's no way in the world to accept this this is a travesty this is this is legislative malpractice.

Cards are tickets are not a fan of this bond congress -- thank you very.
