Gingrich there's a far bigger and possibly deeper problem with the work ethic in this country that we need to address.
It's a problem that is politically correct talk about the one that demands attention.
That's the work ethic of adult Americans.
Especially those just graduating college.
As Occupy Wall Street pointed out all too clearly many well educated young Americans aren't willing to settle for jobs that are available they only want the jobs.
They want.
Jobless benefits can make the problem worse recent Rutgers study found 12100 people who lost jobs during the Great Recession.
Where people who didn't receive unemployment insurance were more likely to obtain a job in less than a year.
People who did receive jobless benefits an exhausted them took more than a year to find a job.
Look I graduated in 21 of the worst recessions in memory the job I could get out of college wasn't the one I had planned for work but it did pay my bills.
And once when I did go on jobless benefits when my employer went out of business.
I worked relentlessly to find a new job I -- enough job benefits as fast as I could.
The job I got was an ideal but it led to one that wives.
And the evidence is piling up that more and more employers have jobs they camp -- Because either Americans don't want to do those jobs where they don't have the right skill sets for those jobs.
And then there's the financial told -- these benefits are taking on the nation.
States exhausted their funds long ago and now the federal government largely is picking up that -- Jobless Americans have collected 434.
Billion.
Billion and benefits over the last four years.
-- benefits are renewed and they probably will be some five million people stop getting those benefits.
If they are extended the ultimate link the possible benefits would move beyond 99 weeks.
More than two years.
Look at some point we have to ask ourselves whether we're willing to continue extending these benefits.
