Tonight on the -- is the bigger progressive president Barack Obama or former house speaker Newt Gingrich.

First the evidence both men can have big progress from former president Teddy Roosevelt among their personal heroes.

Roosevelt called -- radical.

-- called the socialists.

-- a Communist.

But today we are -- return nation -- stronger democracy because of what he fought for in his last campaign.

Yeah Roosevelt Republican and fact that they're characterized my.

California comes from.

-- -- Republicans -- believe government can't believe in the regulatory -- okay.

And regulatory -- is okay -- let's get the record straight president Roosevelt Theodore Roosevelt laid the ground work for prohibition and for the military draft.

Both of which had to be repealed before nearly chairing the nation apart.

He gave us the Food and Drug Administration which gave us industrialized agriculture.

And sky high drug prices DR tried to reintroduce the unconstitutional income tax.

Any help distressed state sovereignty with the seventeenth amendment.

He was a racist to a fatal favorite aborting babies have collar.

And it was the first president to propose universal health care paid for by the taxpayers.

Newt Gingrich a student of history knows all this and -- -- -- -- itself a Theodore Roosevelt Republican.

Which is in fact a Republican in name only and really is just a big government progressive.

We're reminded of the house ethics investigation and speaker Gingrich in 1997 investigators dredged up easel sheets.

Created by the former speaker for presentation at a fund -- five years earlier they were entitled.

Gingrich primary mission.

And the notes from the Gingrich revolution sounded like those of a megalomaniac.

Advocate of normalization define -- of civilization.

Teacher of the rules of civilization are rows are of those -- -- civilization.

He's talking about himself here.

Speaker Gingrich went on to say in his -- presentation PowerPoint.

This retains a primary focus on elected political power as the central arena and full -- By which -- free people debate their future and govern themselves closed quote.

So who is the bigger big government programs.

President Barack Obama or former house speaker Newt Gingrich Republican.

Republican at least for now presidential candidate former -- Mexico governor.

Gary Johnson joins us now governor Johnson it's a pleasure welcome the freedom watch.

Judge.

Great to be on -- you know I read the material crews here a couple of years ago on.

Teddy Roosevelt arguably.

You're responsible for all.

Asian policy as -- existed all all of in the name of spreading democracy across the South Pacific did we basically go to war with the south.

People don't want you in the debate should make statements that are profoundly challenged the government you point to historical truths misstatements are buried inside the back pages of the newspaper.

How would you define.

Victory.

For you for Gary Johnson.

In this primary series of primary campaigns.

Well victory for me has always been about the message and its because you would be able to deliver the message because you'd be at the debate table you'd be able to deliver a message that.

Ultimately would change the world a little bit now.

I've been denied the opportunity -- so I have no fulfillment whatsoever with regard to Europe.

What I would consider victory in this campaign I have been excluded.

And it is about the message -- the messenger and maybe I don't end up to be the right messenger but at some point.

It'll actually get heard and I believe it speaks on behalf of the majority of Americans but I was out there to give that to test and I didn't I didn't get an audience.

All right and -- correct me if I'm wrong I suspect that if the messenger is Ron Paul you will very much beyond board.

Let's suppose the message and absolutely -- -- the Republican nominee is Newt Gingrich.

Only a support for hopefully you vote what we would advise the millions who have supported you to do.

If it's Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich vs Barack Obama.

Well I'm looking right now -- running as though the libertarian not candidates.

I've been excluded from the Republican process if I would've been included.

And and just cast off.

And that might be another story but I do think it's a message.

-- -- speaking in broad strokes and I hate broad strokes but I think.

The majority of Americans describe themselves as fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

And that is a very broad stroke and using that very broad stroke that's why am I mean that I'm in that majority.

So let's balance the federal budget it's an unfair system.

And then I'm advocating throwing out the entire federal tax system and replacing it with a fair tax which in my opinion really reboots the American economy.

Would you accept the argument.

And and you know I agree with everything you've just said what would you accept the argument.

That if you ran as a third party candidate but put aside the obstacles to getting on the ballot because the two party system.

Has written laws to perpetuate itself in power but if you get get on the ballot.

And if you were a third party candidate if you've got on states where.

You have an effect aren't you likely to take Republican votes potential Republican votes away from whoever is opposing Barack Obama stated differently.

Might you be the Ralph Nader to.

-- over the Republican nominee is in 2012 as it is argued Ralph Nader was for Al Gore in 2000.

Well interestingly Ralph Nader didn't turn the tables against Al Gore that Ralph Nader.

Took -- equally from both parties and then took a group that wouldn't have ordinarily voted so.

That's actually the statistics behind a third party run and I don't disagree that that's the perception.

But hey it did is a message and if the message is being completely thwarted.

As opposed to being talked about and debated and discussed do you change the world a little bit.

Because you are delivering a message that I think resonates on behalf of most people but if you're denied that ability to do it.

Current layout and the idea give up our and I haven't given up on the Republican Party but time time's ticking time is ticking.

Governor jobs and it's a pleasure thanks for joining us.

Thank you very much judge he's the former.
