Decreased congressional pay -- freeze federal employees play whatever we need to do.
To make sure that that money stays -- is -- and gets back into the Social Security trust fund.

He doesn't like it how do you respond.
Well you know that this is the kind of fear tactics that are just driving the American people crazy.
There's no one minds common sense regulations but let me give you some statistics -- not be glad to talk to mr.
or hear about this.
Right now we know that federal regulations.
Cost our economy over a trillion dollars a year.
Just this year alone the new regulations that this administration has put in place.
Cause our economy over a hundred billion dollars.
Seven -- 2000.
Pages of new regulations.
That take a 118.
Million hours for our businesses to comply with them.
Now if you do the simple -- you find out that that equates to over thirteen thousand years.
Of work active effort.
Do -- to comply with these federal regulations.
Federal regulations.
Are strangling.
America's economy and -- job growth and the -- that.
Is going to put that regulatory process back into the hands of the American people -- belongs and get the unelected bureaucrats out of life.
Well let me ask you this a minute we're looking at that new regulations -- have been approved under the Obama administration.
And since excuse me through march of 2011 of this year 75.
Major new regulations added just 38 billion dollars in new costs.
They're gonna be added now on the other side you wanna stop the Israelis have congress approved but -- this.
Put a kind of a moratorium on regulations that need to be put in place when this delay the process of everything has -- voted on by congress.
When that delay the process for some regulations that frankly may be needed.
For the safety.
The American people.
Well like I said you know -- we've been doing government regulating for a long time we've got a pretty good handle own safety and and public health related issues.
And and I'm all in favor of regulations that protect public health.
And public safety and national security.
But when you've got the federal government putting new regulations and that are costing our economy over a hundred billion dollars.
That's not good for the American people it's not good for businesses.
It's not good for our economic climate.
We've got to stop.
On elected bureaucrats from doing these kinds of things and remember.
The range that doesn't look at all regulations it just looks -- regulations that are gonna cost over a hundred million dollars or more so they're the big.
Well let me ask -- as the coalition for sensible safeguards as one of the groups that to come out and is looked at your proposal is made a comment may say that this jeopardizes.
I have been mostly the clean air and Clean Water Act how do you respond to that.
Again and again I can -- you very specific examples of how.
Environmental regulations are hurting our economy and it's exactly that kind of thing that we're trying to -- Take the stream buffer zone rule for example that the office of surface mining and reclamation is trying to -- right.
That's threatening up to 27000.
Direct and indirect jobs in the coal industry and threatens to reduce coal production.
By as much as 50% across America.
Now remember America gets about 45% of its energy from coal the state of of Ohio where I'm from.
It's 87% of its energy from coal.
So we've got to have common sense regulations and I think putting it back into the hands of the American people will see -- get more closer to that direct.
-- congressman you're talking about cold but I also know that you like natural gas and natural gas gas is plentiful.
In this country who wouldn't be depended on foreign oil companies in the saudis in particular but to get our crude at the same time.
Nat gas is a perfect example of of fracking up Hydro fracking that is a controversial tactic of ticket to remove the threat but -- -- excuse me from.
The ground here in this country.
-- you know and I'm analysts say it is damaging it has to be regulated.
You would say.
Cheryl we've been doing fracking operations in this country for over sixty years.
Even the the EPA administrator herself ms.
Jackson has acknowledged.
None of all of the fracking operations that we've done and there have been well over a million all -- them.
They can't decide not even a single instance where -- fracking operation has has contaminated drinking water it's another scare tactic.
Designed to keep.
America dependent upon foreign sources for energy.
I am from doing right the opposite we've got an opportunity.
Of asserting American exceptional -- around energy and domestic energy production.
And that's where we need to be headed.
What's it -- congressman -- recent Gallup poll said that when it comes to small business 22%.
That's the biggest percentage say.
It is regulation that makes them nervous we'll see what the senate has to say.
